What the Stars did was smart, they were down 2 goals late in the 2 period & needed to do something to help them get back into the game so they started those 3 fights. That helped them get their energy back& they came back & won that game.

the best part of this fight is the Dale Wiese fight and the aaron volpatti fight not the Maxim Laiperre and the Veron Fiddler fight Weise and Nystorm aaron volpatti and Ryan Garbutt
People say that Dallas was smart for doing this to get their team's energy back and come back and win this game. False in my opinion. I don't believe in that shit since it gives the leading team energy as well. The reason why they came back and won is because they were better than the Canucks that day. End of story.

I am all for, and understand why these dudes have to duke it out… In the second fight I think it would be safer if the refs got in before they wrapped up (started fighting), once they get down on the ice seems sketchy to me. (I understand that most guys never keep swinging once they go down, but man sometimes those skates can be sharp)
