Tasarov is better than advertised. The boys out shot Nashville and still can't get it done. Consistency isn't in Columbus. The first line needs to produce.
you know, I don’t blame this on the first line not producing. sure, the first line should be the ones getting a lot of action and a lot of O zone time, but it isn’t all their fault. we lack in depth scoring. you look at the top teams in the league, they have A LOT of players who contribute each and every game. it can’t always be the top line every night. our depth guys need to produce as much as they can and not put so much pressure on the top guys on the team. A team isn’t based off of 1,2, or 3 guys, it’s a TEAM. we lack the depth scoring, and injuries sure don’t help.
we will be better once the full team is healthy. it’s just a very difficult situation with a lot of young guys. we expect too much from them as a fan base. trust the process, we’ll be fine in the long run. I believe that
Gus said it best, they gotta keep working at it. this is a hard working team, and as a fan who has watched every single game, results will come. maybe not immediately, but they will come. and once again, it’s only up from here.
