It feels like they wanna make what Provorov did a big deal. When in reality it’s his choice and his opinion. He doesn’t owe anyone anything, so I don’t get why he can’t just be allowed to have his own opinion. He didn’t say 1 thing derogatory or defamatory towards anyone.

There have already been 8492957392 threads on this. I get you wanna promote your shit but at least make it timely, especially if you’re gonna go by “HockeyLatest”.

It’s odd because the Flyers are gay.

  4. People really put a lot of thought into celebrities think lol. No hockey player or coach determines what I do or what I think. So why would I let it bother me?

OP tryna make it big on Reddit with these posts 😂😂😂

I don’t think supporting a marginalized group from freely expressing themselves is a hard thing to do. It’s a fucking rainbow jersey ffs. Paradox of tolerance is what these extreme religious views create. Yes, it’s his choice at the end of the day, but I don’t think it was hard to just wear a jersey in warmup and show solidarity with team.

Will the people support a players right to skate in a borat thong?

What about refusing to wear the logo cuz you hate your team?

What about. A breast cancer awareness event, opting out of that should be fine? Or military events? What about refusing to wear jerseys for those things?

Personally, I think they should refuse to wear their ads, right?

In terms of being true to religion, lots of orthodox religions texts are against the idolatry of graven images, ya? So what the fuck is a sports logo if not that.

Nobody cares. Take all the booty hurt feelings elsewhere. This is hockey.

The Flyers probably should have seen this coming and protected Provorov. Could have just said he had an equipment issue and left it at thst.

When it comes to Torts, it’s kind of hard to pick and choose which social issue you’re going to punish players for. It also opens up him to criticism.

We need to clear all of the bigots out of the league, period.

  11. All I’m sayin is if you can get friggen NASCAR on board, I’m not sure you can hide behind the “MANLY HOCKEY SORRY BOUT YOUR FEELINGS” vibe.

That being said, I don’t really care, I just don’t know why this is a story.

    And I’m gay so 🤭

I guess its very controversial to not want to not be obligated to take part in a social movement. People like this are all about diversity, but won’t accept anyone different from them

I’ll say free speech… go against a democratic view. You’re a biggot Maga hat retarded republican that’s a snow flake and doesn’t deserve to live.

    I miss anything?

Great let’s talk about hockey now

  14. Shocker that the man who thinks Trevor Zegras is too fancy for the sport is also supporting homophobes on his team.

  15. almostthere69420

I mean it’s his choice. Forcing people to accept it ain’t going to help at all

  16. sithlordnibbler

Everyone yells about tolerance and acceptance until someone respectfully declines. Then all of a sudden it’s a witch hunt.

    Pathetic.

So if my “religion” says it’s ok to discriminate, then that’s cool?
