Wings are my team but this game won’t end well , we will get out a$$ kicked ,
The improvement for this franchise is coming way too slowly. The chemistry of this team is just not right. Coaching, defense, goaltending, special teams……the whole mix is currently a mess.
We just don't have the right combination of players yet. We have no great players. We r going to have to trade or sign a big time goal scorer. Maybe one or two.
They have to play like they did vs Toronto in order to win this game.
I have 2 requests for Stevie Y this between now and the start of next season. 1. Find a coach who can make us do one simple thing. Win games. It's worth it just to change our coach year after year because we need to try new things until something finally works.2. make a roster which can win consistently without the bull crap of players playing like crap.

Team plays exactly like it did with Blashill. Zero physicality. Dump and chasing pucks. No defense. Mental lapse after mental lapses in judgement.
I honestly thought the vet guys we brought in would be enough to stop these lack of effort slides we start piling up every year. But we're still a markedly better team this year in style of play and systems. Playoffs were never the benchmark for improvement this year… but I DID think they'd grow up and get it done.
