The benches were not as bad as I suspected. To be fair to the home team, they did eventually fill up with a majority coyotes fans, they just never had much to cheer for!
Also every time we’d start a Let’s go Caps chant, the drum line would interrupt it. Fair play but goes to show that there wasn’t a lot of organic cheering, at least near the beach seats

Awesome to Strome have so much support from the franchise that drafted him! On the CSN broadcast, it really did seem like a quarter of the lower bowl celebrated whenever we scored
