Did no one hear Russo’s interview on KFAN on Thursday? He said Dean is done with Dumba. Said Dean told Guerin to get rid of him. Said they’re definitely not re-signing him and that this will definitively be his last season with the Wild and Dumba knows that as well. Idk why people keep posting asking what’s going on. Russo just assassinated him on the radio for everyone to hear. He’s gone. Not saying that’s a good thing I’m just confused why people on here are posting every day saying they think Dumba will take a team friendly deal this offseason or that he’s only being benched because of an impending trade. Dean doesn’t like his play and he’s over him
So given a defense shakeup is coming either at the deadline or next summer, most notably Dumba is gone, the most talked name between our prospects is Brock Faber.
So I am just asking if you know more than me about him, what kind of player he is? Offensive defenseman who can run a pp? Stay at home defenseman? Puck moving defenseman? Will he be a pk workhorse?
What do you think will his realistic ceiling be? Top player? Solid top4? Complementary top4? Bottom line player? Barely an NHLer/7th D/first man up?
Is he NHL ready by the beginning of the next season or will he need some AHL time to develop?
