I’m convinced that the Habs could ice a team of literal monkeys that have never skated before and as long as they’re wearing Habs jerseys and playing in the Bell Centre the Leafs would still have trouble beating them.

  2. OntarioPaddler

It wouldn’t be a leafs overtime without Marner making an incredibly risky and ineffective drop pass.

  3. stripseek_teedawt

Leafs gain one point versus Habs n Refs

  4. leafman4000

I honestly don’t even know what to say. Night in and night out we get buttfucked by the refs. If keefe doesn’t say something he’s a goddamn coward

  5. another_plebeian

    Playoff update: *still* playing Tampa

  6. Well at least they’re a step away from bedard

  7. Svalbard38

Could anyone define goalie interference for me?

  8. theguyishere16

    A terrible 2nd sunk them.

Also the officiating fucking blows. This is a recording.

  9. ProfessorBeast55

JT in OT is a disaster waiting to happen

  10. The-Only-Razor

OT Marner drop pass strikes again.

  11. StaticR0ute

Oh well, 1 point gained on Tampa and 2 points donated to the Habs to get them farther from Bedard.

Fucking sucks losing to the stinkin Habs, but I’m semi-ok with this one.

  12. burton4416

They’re just galaxy braining the losing to the Habs so they won’t get Bedard. At least that’s my copium talking

  13. StaticR0ute

Who the shit controls the goal horn in Montreal? It’s like every goal is the cup winner lol

  14. ieastass69

always a half-assed effort vs the habs. that 2nd period was dreadful

  15. lmaoleafs2022

Zero effort in the second period, lazy drop pass on OT, Matthews taking a free children’s skate day back checking

  16. lianalili

leafs said “you can get Bedard but it won’t be on our account”

  17. frmacleod

Lost to an AHL team trying to tank for Bedard. Oof.

  18. ripDarkk

Are we supposed to feel good about playoffs when we can’t beat the worst teams in the league? Did we give up in the second? Wtf was that game.

  19. labadee

we really love playing down to our opponents don’t we? at least we got a point when the lightning lost. Entertaining game at least, and it hurts their bedard chances

  20. MutedHornet87

Marner needs to learn to shoot the fucking puck

  21. Gamesguy24

Not sure how the league can watch this reffing and be satisfied that everything is okay

  22. leafman4000

Shocker french ref doesn’t like the leafs

  23. Reggae4Triceratops

You knew this would happen when Caufield’s injury was announced.

  24. djlista

Goalied, reffed, and puck lucked all in the same game

  25. We’re still playing Tampa, and Habs fans cheering Bedard away lol

  26. GoatStimulator_

People don’t realize how badly those horrible penalties fucked Toronto, it shifted so much momentum in the habs favor

  27. Kamdog11

Josh anderson scoring, leafs forgetting how to play D and losing at the Bell Centre, what is more predictable?

  28. 123jazzhandz321

The pick seems to only exist to screw the leafs LOL.

  29. TayOs1998

Why didn’t Tavares change? I swear he had time.

  30. DevryMedicalGraduate

The Leafs shitty record in OT + shitty record vs bad teams is so frustrating.

As it stands, they have a losing record right now vs clear non-playoff teams: Losses vs Anaheim, Arizona x2, St. Louis, San Jose, Montreal x2, Detroit.

This team really likes to make it hard on themselves.

  31. CANUSA130

Take a point every second or third game and relax. You’re playing Tampa come what may, either here or there and it will go seven.

  32. LawrenceMoten21

    STOP PLAYING TAVARES IN 3V3

  33. ButtsAndBuds

It happens. I didn’t get to watch the 1st or 2nd, but from what I saw in 3rd they had to bury one. Tough to lose like that to those stinkinnnn habs, but that’s the game.

On the positive we gained a point on Tampa. The way I see it, these games where we are the heavy favorite don’t really mean jackshit, we are bound to play Tampa in the playoffs and if we win, boston in R2. Can’t get much out of this performance other then it should have been 2 points.

On to the next one boys!

    GO LEAFS GO

  34. TheCarrier89

It’s ok, all this means is the habs are one step further away from landing Bedard.

  35. irkybirky

Thought they played a good 1st. Then started to trip. Had some great chances but got goalied. Penalties then became a factor, and the script played out as it usually does. Hab/leaf games anything is possible

  36. Potato4

Well that sucked. I’m cranky now.

  37. NiteOwlI

We gained a point on Tampa and Montreal gained two points away from Bedard.

  38. NiteOwlI

In other news, McDavid just scored his 40th goal. It is fucking January. I bet when we finally play the Oilers we win 4-1 (Hyman goal).
