Fuck the FO seriously, fuck em all.

  2. mghtymrv

Honestly I don’t even wanna cheer this team on anymore. This is horrible.

This team seems so hopeless and it’s just so discouraging.

  3. ConfuzedSkunk

Man that was tough to watch. Thanks all the fans in the building for showing Bruce we’ll miss him

  4. StoneColdCanuck

Thank you Bruce for some excitement in a dark age. We’re sorry you were treated like this.

  5. PhenomenonYT

    God that was fucking depressing

  6. JTMilleriswortha1st

Even if Bruce isn’t the right coach for this team. I will miss seeing him everyday even if the results weren’t perfect. He seems like a great positive person

  7. Firingneuron

This is so sad. I have watched the Canucks since the mid 90’s and I have never felt ashamed of my team. It’s appalling what they did to this guy. I had so much hope when they brought in Rutherford and seemed progressive with their hires but this is such a 180

  8. mrtomjones

This video isn’t working for me. Is it just me?

  9. farinush

What this organization is doing is simply shameful. There’s no other way to put it.

  10. ben_nova

This is heartbreaking. I’m a new fan and I feel like I’ve made the wrong decision picking this team. Bruce deserves better.

  11. Istimewa-Ed

    Bruce, there it is.
    What a waste.
    Good luck Bruce.

  12. and with that, I’m done watching the team until the org can get its collective shit in this shitshow together

  13. SpectreFire

What Rutherford, Allvin, and the rest of the management group did is 100% worse than anything Benning and Weisbrod did during their time here.

Benning and Weisbrod were just absolutely incompetent yes men.

Rutherford and friends are just absolutely awful human beings who also happen to be incompetent yes men.

  14. SomethinboutChickens

Thank you to every fan who chanted this man’s name these past 2 games.

    Management should be embarrassed.

  15. TimsAFK

This honestly might be the breaking point for me. We’ve all put up with a lot of shit from this organization, terrible signings, extremely poor asset management, no direction and inept management that has been replaced by seemingly the same wolf in sheep’s clothing, but I really don’t know if I can continue to support this organization in its current state. I just can’t give my time or monetary support to an organization that would reduce a grown man to tears like that, it’s disgusting.

  16. DrexellGames

I find that management has turned heel this season in terms of their treatment towards Bruce. It’s pretty disappointing considering based on experience, they were better than the previous regime

  17. DaveJacksonguy

I’m glad Bruce took the high road. Such class.

Things didn’t go perfectly, but man am I glad he knows how much the fan base loved him.

    The management are an embarrassment.

  18. dbainerr

    Stop.. I’m already crying.. 😥

  19. nightshift31

I shed tears seeing this live. love you Bruce, I’m sorry.

  20. PetterssonsNeck

Now we need to chant “fire the front office!”

  21. This has to be the lowest I’ve felt watching the Canucks since the cup final. Just at a loss of words where to go from here. Feels like it’s just been a cycle of misery for so long and will continue to be for the distant future

  22. Forgotmymind

This organization is a fucking joke and I’m ashamed to have ever given this pathetic weasel any of my money.
I hope all of Aqua’s hangnails are forever pulled down his fingers and toes.

  23. wingdingcanuck

I have never felt just outright disgusted with this team. But here I am.

Forget the hockey side of things, Rutherford is a horrible person working for another horrible person in Aquilini. You do not treat people like this, period. Let alone someone you repeatedly call a « friend. » That’s the worst part of all, Rutherford is such a coward that he’ll treat Boudreau with a unbelievable lack of respect then hide behind the label of « friend. »

    Fuck Rutherford, and fuck Aquilini.

  24. moecanuck

Fuck this team, I think I am done with them.

  25. bannermd

Coming over from the Oilers sub to say we all stand with Bruce. Fuck Canucks ownership, hope Bruce goes to a team with supportive ownership!

  26. FlyBlueGuitar

Such a shit show. I hope fans in whatever market Bruce ends up appreciate him.

  27. theEMPTYlife

I hope Bruce, management, Aqua, the players, and the ENTIRE FUCKING LEAGUE FINALLY, and I mean FINALLY, understands that we are NOT a toxic market. If you’re a good person, if you work hard, if you’re straight up, we will LOVE YOU. We aren’t STUPID, we’re rabid to know about the dealings of our favourite team, our biggest fault is probably that we love our team so much we keep feeding it’s shitty owners more money. God, I never want to ever hear again any bullshit about the fanbase, yeah some assholes are insane and gonna threaten ppls dogs or whatever, that’s fucking crazy, fuck those people, and they are a minority, but ever since 2011 ppl been dunking on the Canucks fanbase for the riot, for the history of failure in this club (as if Toronto’s cups before the Canucks even joined the NHL are any more valid than the millionaires win), and for Benning (as if trying to enjoy the glimpses of hope like the Calder trinity while your org is rotting away against your control is a bad thing). We just want a franchise that gives a shit, that’s respectable. The org failed Bruce, many of the players frankly failed Bruce too, but goddamn did we as fans ever not. Bruce there he mother fucking is, this organization did NOT deserve him, and he did NOT deserve the crap he was put through. I pray he gets picked up by a real contender and wins that cup he’s been chasing. What a class act to the very end.

  28. backboobies

    management is fucking disgusting.

  29. hrryyss

What a class act. Love Bruce! He deserved to be treated so much better!

  30. actualhorta

I’m done. I cannot in good conscience support this team. I’ve spent so many, many years following, but I just can’t support what they’ve become. I don’t care about wins and loses, but I do care about the good people they are fucking over. I’ll watch where, hopefully, Bruce goes. I’ll watch where Bo goes. And where eventually Petey ends up. But I’m done here.

  31. cricktlaxwolvesbandy

    Geez this is so sad…

As an Avs fan, I’m kind of OOTL on the Bruce situation. Nucks ownership is a massive piece of shit especially the guy who abused his own kids at the top, really hope the organization gets a clean house. You guys have awesome fans and I love your team

  32. GangreneMachine

I actually think it’s time to cheer for the Kraken. Especially if they end up getting Bo

  33. [deleted]

That zoom-in at 0:52 of Alvin, Castonguay, and Granato. They know they fucked up.

  34. parsnip_grove

Brutal. How far this organization has fallen in 10 years. Done being a nucks fan till aqua and management are gone.

  35. MikaelDerp

I genuinely think I’m done with the team. This is so much worse than Game 7 and it’s not even close. Why would I support a franchise that treats it’s coaches like this, that would expect people to look at this team and want to support them when they’re pulling shit like this, who looks at this and thinks « I want to support this club, players, and coaches ». I legit feel disgusted to have been a fan of this team. They talk and talk about team culture but if this is what « culture » is then I want no part of it. I hope Petey, Huggy, and the others move on to better teams. No one should have to work beneath such a fucked up regime.

  36. LookAtThatNose

The soul from this entire organization is now gone. Nada. Nothing left.

Can’t stomach giving a shit about the Canucks anymore.

Neither can I give a crap about anything else in the NHL that isn’t the Canucks. Pure apathy. There’s nothing likeable about this team anymore.

  37. LSAjerseys

I have never wished true ill to anybody in my life, but I hope Aquilini chokes on a blueberry soon.

  38. PuzzleheadedHand5441

In 30 years of watching the Canucks religiously, I’ve never missed more than 4-5 games in a season. I haven’t watched one game or bothered with highlights in 1.5 months. Worst era in history bar none.

  39. ThisIsFineImFine89

First time i’ve cried following this team. That includes 2011.

  40. GangreneMachine

« I just wanted to savor the moment and look into the stands. I don’t know if I’ll ever get back here again. »

  41. icelandiccanuck

I’ve been a fan almost my entire life. When I was 4 our daycare class went to GM Place and went down and touched centre ice, that was just the beginning. I’ll never forget beating Dallas in the 4th overtime, I’ll never forget listening to the SCF on the radio, I’ll never forget Bo getting the OT winner against the Bruins at my first game, and I’ll never forget the camaraderie and the crazy game threads. So many great memories but tonight was the breaking point. Bruce deserved better, the fans deserve better, Vancouver deserves better. I’ll be back once the team’s in better hands.

  42. thethirdgreenman

Say what you will about Benning, and I wasn’t a fan, but I never thought he was a bad guy. You could tell especially towards the end that he had his heart on his sleeve and really was struggling with how the org was treating him, similar to what’s happening now with Bruce. No doubt in my mind he wouldn’t have done this to Bruce. Fuck Rutherford, and fuck this organization.

  43. Momba2013

This is the lowest point for me in my lifelong Canucks fandom. This is lower than 2011 for me easily. I’ve never seen a head coach treated this badly for mistakes that are not his fault. Basically he’s being made the scapegoat for a money grubbing owner who was too short sighted to commit to the rebuild this team needs. This will do long term damage to the Canucks as an organization, why the hell would any high calibre coach want to come here? Aquilini deserves most of the blame but so does Rutherford for being a willing yes man to all of this.

Bruce deserves better and I wish him all the best.
