I’m hoping Coop’s strategy is, « We’re gonna go EN so often during the season, that when we pull it in the playoffs, and the boys have stepped it up a notch, the reps will pay off big. »
Otherwise, yeah, it’s frustrating to watch

ENs happen, the bigger problem seems to be that we aren’t getting much if any scoring chances on the 6-on-5, and often it seems as if no one knew the goalie was pulled nor the intended strategy.
I still think it’s a good idea, because it tells the team we’re still trying to win this, but it doesn’t seem like they’re going about it in the correct way.
