Les Penguins de Pittsburgh ont été accueillis par les Devils du New Jersey dimanche après-midi. Moins d’une minute après le début du match, l’attaquant des Devils Jack Hughes a frappé le premier. Quelques minutes plus tard, les Penguins Légende Sydney Crosby a arraché un tir sur réception de la ligne bleue et a créé l’égalité à 1 chacun pour mettre fin à la 1ère période. Le 2ème serait une période calme sans buts. Les Penguins ont dominé la seconde moitié de cette période, limitant les Devils à seulement deux tirs au but. Ils ont pris cet élan jusque dans la 3e période. Le jeu de va-et-vient a amorcé la 3e période sans coup de sifflet pendant les sept premières minutes. Mais, pour la troisième fois en quatre matchs, les Penguins sont allés en prolongation. Sur un 2 contre 1, les Penguins marquaient, mais les arbitres ont rapidement annulé le but et imposé une pénalité de trop d’hommes aux Penguins. Les Devils ont profité de cette opportunité, Dougie Hamilton terminant le match en prolongation en supériorité numérique, 2-1. I thought we would lose happy that we got that ot point. It's the games like away in Ottawa we can't be losing.
Opportunity after Opportunity…Pens don't take advantage and lose yet ANOTHER OT game. Another slow start….and another game costing penalty. I think this game tells us exactly how far the Pens will go this season. A truly great effort on the road but in the end…the same disappointing results. Clock is ticking.
A younger, faster team vs. an older, slower team… it could've been a blowout. At this stage, I'll take the point and cross my fingers as the trade deadline approaches.

Can't have all the points come from top 2 lines and not much help from defense. They get so many shots blocked, at least Ty Smith shows some offensive skill compared to the rest of our guys
I was at this game, and the disallowed goal that led to the penalty in ot was a terrible call
