I feel Iginla does not want anything to do with Calgary. Since retirement have not seen him. Look at Lanny MacDonald.. you still see him supporting the Flames.

If the Flames go full rebuild, then sure. He can learn the coaching while the rest of the team is learning the NHL. St. Louis is doing the same thing right now, but make no mistake – if the Habs weren't in contention, Martin St. Louis would not have been their first choice. Its not like they've been jaw-droppingly amazing out there.
