Avant le match de mercredi soir contre le Lightning de Tampa Bay, les Canucks de Vancouver ont tenu un moment pour se souvenir et honorer le regretté Gino Odjick.
Gino was awesome on Ice .And he help make the Canucks great ,But now offer my condolences to the Odjick Family .So he will be missed as hockey player ,Also he was very cool on ice .So he was one cool Canuck to watch on Ice .
I’ll never forget meeting Gino when I was a teenager at a pow wow that he danced in.I got to have lunch with him and talk to him a bit..at the end he signed my hockey card.he was so nice and down to earth.he gave me a great memory that will be with me forever
Canucks can't catch any breaks. Extremely rough season, drama nonstop within the organization, a former player dead, etc. It's rough these days. If only we as fans could actually have any say in what happens with the team.
That’s it? 4:00 min of team mates & a puck drop? For a tribute to a beloved alumni’s passing? Canucks FAIL again….smh. How about a few hockey hi lites to cheer the crowd up!!? FFS 😡 Donnie & Dhali had a better clip package put together than this. Boo on you. GINO! ♥️GINO! ♥️GINO!♥️
Was a season ticket holder during his time on the Islanders. Always a class act and much appreciated on the team. Some players just come and go after 2 years and you hardly remember them, others make a great lasting impression, that was Gino👍
Does the TV director actually know the players? It would appear not as the camera was on the wrong player with each introduction. The PA announcer should have taken a couple seconds so each player could hit the carpet before being introduced. The whole thing was a mess. Thankfully the crowd saved it with chants of GINO, sure I'm not the only one who got a little choked up.
I met him at the fight night in a bar in North Van ,what a gentle man ,his handlers pushed me away ,he turned around and gave me a big hug,I don't know why ,but I think you needed it.If not he said,I did.Thats a classy man
I remember him when he used to play for the Canucks. It's very tragic that he passed away, and I still don't know how he died – at this point I'm assuming it was a heart attack? I hope that his spirit is in a peaceful place in the afterlife. R.I.P. Gino 🙏
. It was an honour and privilege to know this incredible man. So full of life regardless of his illness. Beautiful story teller of his life growing up in as a strong member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg Community. His struggles on and off the ice made him who he was. A humble, giving and loving man. He will be truly missed; not just in the hockey community but the community of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest In Peace my brother as you meet your creator..🥅🏒🙏😢♥️🌹

Gino would be proud! RIP
No Pavel Bure?
This is the team when I first started following Vancouver. Old school Canucks! VAN#29
If they really honor him he would be on the wall of honor.the problem with the canucks is Rutherford.

Ahhhhh , those were the days . . . . But where's Pavel. Both those guys worked their tales off for the Canucks
Respect to the Canucks and Gino.
It's weird seeing these guys as old men.
Met Gino during the 94 Stanley cup playoffs here in NYC. A wonderful person. Going to miss him. Gino Gino.😓😓😓😓🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I can't believe Pavel wasn't there.
I’m more surprised Bear wasn’t called to the puck drop.

Nice to honour Gino. Short but sweet… no video montage of any kind was a disappointment.
