Sam Montembeault is playing pretty well. Not sure if he's even a medium-term solution but it's nice to see. Habs may need to trade for a potential starting goalie soon. A few teams have two potential starters.

Habs rebuild is looking great so far. They’re missing most of their senior roster and competing with cup contending teams like Winnipeg and Boston. Give them time to develop and build chemistry and I think they’ll finally be cup contenders again in a few years.
Boston really plays like a well oiled machine. I think they took the Habs a bit lightly, Habs played to the top of their game tonight considering their roster… but good teams find a way to win.
I can’t lie, Montreal played really solid hockey today against the best team in the NHL. Their future unfortunately looks pretty bright for the next few years to come.
