The Canucks could have easily had 7 or 8 here… kudos to the Hawks goalie. This could be the start of the Canucks getting their dignity back. Chicago is not a big challenge… we need Demko back and we need to play defensively as a whole team in order to beat the top teams. Congrats Rick on win number one… maybe you can find a way to help these guys find an identity and teach them how to play tough, relentless hockey.
Watched this after seeing who or what some famous people or celebrities who are Canucks fans on Google. I won't name names, for privacy reasons, but they know who they are 🙂.
As a goalie I absolutely hate when they give up the middle, let him come all the way to the net at the post just don't let him cut threw the middle.. That said, you gotta make that save
Poor Mrazek. Stops 20/20 in the first period. None of those goals were his fault. And Max Domi being an idiot almost injuring Mrazek. Maybe don’t cross check a player onto your goalie.
Kuzmenko showed the difference between a winning team in the NHL and 'hardworking' teams; you need players who can finish. The hardworking team had 20 shots in period 1, zero goals. Once the dam broke, ….. On another night, it would be Pederson, Miller, Boeser, and of course include Horvat with his 31 already this season. Now all Gonchar and Foot have to do is work with the Defense before they play Ed, CO, S.J., . Good luck.
