Literally unheard of in the modern era. His stats are elite, but the workload is above and beyond anyone’s expectations — except his own.

Awesome stats from big cat

I think he’ll be added to the current list of 3 goalies in the goat debate when he’s done

Wasn’t Dryden and Vasy the last two goalies to start every game in a Stanley Cup run?
beckyjoooo
we are so lucky, and smart, to have him… god tier talent..

At his current pace he’s slated to hit 300 wins by his 479th game. This would make him the fastest goalie to 300 wins, doing so in 49 fewer games than the current record holder.

The consistency has been unbelievable. Feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to witness it.

I honestly can’t believe that it took Vasy only 16 less games then Dryden. If you don’t know Ken Dryden, look up his [stats](https://www.hockey-reference.com/players/d/drydeke01.html). It’s like basically playing NHL 23 on rookie settings. He only played 8 years in the NHL but had almost as many shutouts (46) as losses (57) in 397 games and won six Cups (!!!!!!) in those eight seasons. The fact that Vasy is anywhere close to Dryden’s numbers should make it obvious just how damn good Vasy is. We’re witnessing one of the greatest ever in real time. The Lightning are very far from a defensive-minded team, don’t take this man for granted.
