Couple years ago I would be okay with this, but now I'm not so sure really!!
As a rental, and for that bargain price, he could definitely slide in somewhere in the lineup!
Toews knows what it takes to win the cup and the Jets finally seem poised for a serious run this year so I think this would be huge
I'd take him for the 3rd line any day. Just a matter of what the cost is. Love everything Adam Lowry brings but the guy doesn't score enough for an ideal 3C, get Toews for a 2nd or 3rd and push Lowry down to 4C.
As a 3rd time centre and a face off man. Not sure if he would except that role and who’s he gonna play with on the 3rd line, waiver wire players?
I’d love to have Toews come home. I think he’d fit in well.

Do you think he would be made the C? He has winning experience and proven leadership!
Just curious how Lowry feels about something like this.. I can't imagine he'd be thrilled at being demoted for an incoming new player, even if he originates from Winnipeg. Lowry gives 110% every game. I think it could damage the culture in the locker room.
This is great! I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this! I literally just finished my season mode in NHL 23 on the PS5, and I scooped up Toews from Chicago at the deadline. He added depth to my team as a great 2nd or 3rd line center and hoisted the cup with the Jets! I hope this is a true foreshadowing, haha!
Toews is almost 60% for faceoff wins in his career so that would definitely help.
