  1. What game did he watch? Chytil line almost won the game single handedly and is basically benched last ten minutes! Thats how you reward the one line that showed up? He liked how the top 6 played? I like Kreids, he had atrocious game. Come on! We win 6-2 and your disgusted. As a Ranger fan, this game made me sick. Terrible coaching job this game, show some humility and say it instead of giving die hard Ranger fans this BS.

  2. Coach Gallant is an absolute clown. Time to get a new coach if this organization wants the kids to succeed

  3. THIS COACH FLIP FLOPS TOO MUCH!….A GREAT GAME? AND HE WAS DISSAPOINTED WITH THE GAME THEY WON 6-2?…..DRURY PLEASE RELEAVE GALLANT AND GET RID OF KREIDER, BOTH ARE TAKING UP VALUABLE SPACE!

  4. I don't know how a coach could be happy with the way the game was played… I guess it's okay to blow a one-goal lead with a couple of minutes left in the game and then lose in overtime within 1 minute. It would be so refreshing to hear something like… Well we should have held on to the lead… this was a game we should have w o n, and I'm really disappointed that we lost this game… he makes this loss sound like a moral victory and it's not like you came from behind and got a point… You blew the lead and you had to settle for a point… how about telling the truth every now and then… You might feel better!

  5. I’ve been a Ranger fan for 60 years. Flip flop? He says it the way it is. The second period tonight was their best period in a while. And yes the 6-2 win was deceiving. Since he came back from his injury Kreider has been in a fog. We totally outplayed Toronto tonight. They converted on 2 plays. We were in their zone 70% of the time. We lose because we can’t finish, as usual. Drury blew it with Trocheck. He looks horrible after a promising start. I wanted him too, but not for 7 YEARS!!! In retrospect Chytil is our #2 Center. We should have saved the money for all the young guys coming up for contracts. In OT tonight Miller should have crushed Marner. They were on a collision course and he tried to stick check him. Never should have traded Reeves. I don’t even care if he played. Just sit on the bench for intimidation is valuable. Trouba hit last year because he had protection. And Turk saw just what I did and pulled Krieder off the #1 line and dumped him with Trocheck. So it’s not a Flip Flop. It’s the truth.

  6. Anyone notice how Keafe Was double shifting his best players for practically the entire third. And meanwhile our best line hands down for the whole game, played under five minutes of even strength ice in the third. Lol. How in the world anyone continues to defend this coach is completely beyond me. He has absolutely no clue how to coach a game.

Jimmy Vesey led the Rangers in ESTOI tonight….Goodrow 4th….Meanwhile the kids, The only three players who put points on the board tonight foe the Rangers and the three best forwards in the game, Were 6,7,8 in ice time and didn’t get a shift in the final 5 minutes of regulation plus overtime.

    Gerard Gallant is a clown

  7. Played excellent? One player scored both goals And Trouba was on the ice as usual for a bad goal against to tie the game… Trouba is a huge liability, and at 8 million per season, is vastly overpaid… Take that 8 million, and spend it on a scorer. Ben Harper plays at the league minimum, and is a bargain compared to Trouba…

  8. Unreal. Compare what The Leafs coach did in the 3rd compared Gallant. The latter limited his best line (I Kid you not, pun intended) in the 3rd and doubled up on bottom 6th, while Keefe double shifted his best lines. Oh Leafs took over, pinned down the Rangers and eventually tied the game. I wonder why? Gallant is inept at coaching and deploying tactics. Had we had a good coach with ability to do this, we'd be a solid contender. The only reason NYR are not in the bottom half is because there are some really good players and the group has a good blend of Elite vets, talent and stable role players… and Igor. A freakin Vezina Winner.

Everyone needs to understand this; Gallant is awful at coaching hockey.
