Great goal by chytil but 1000% this goal doesnt happen without kakkos insane play. He has like 4 takeaways and dekes around the defender and pulls the goalie to him leaving Fil by himself.
Also watch laf too. While not actively stealing etc. His positioning blocked the outlet passes making the leafs players hold the puck. He had a lot of good positioning here

Kakko is so close to putting it all together, it’s really fun to watch him on his shifts. Always active and usually good makes something happen. This one was star level.

Would love to see Kravtsov on a line with Kakko and Chytil.
WayneG991717
He looks great. I just wish he would shoot more.
guccikline
Doing this against a Matthews/Marner line is even more impressive. Wish they saw the ice in the last 5 minutes
Mysterious_Wheel
Not trying to take anything away from Kakko, was a really nice play by him, but also worth noting the strong play from Laf to start it off. I havenât been watching as much as I like recently, but the confidence all three of these guys have when they play together is nice to see.
Ankles45
Good thing we broke these guys up late in the game so we could blow the lead and also never score
Dig-Duglett
not giving these guys the minutes they deserve is rangers terrorism
Rhombus99
Chytil really made the most of his 9 seconds of ice time tonight
Grabachev81
Yeah these 3 have good chemistry and the growth is apparent. Its really encouraging to see them show it more consistently

We love a big strong kakko in the O zone.
my girl even laughed at the announcer live, talking about him.

Laf made a heck of a pass to Kakko after grabbing that elevated pass. Been waiting for those sorts of passes all season.
Kakko was the star of the shift. But canât help but notice Chytil was a super pest along the boards the entire shift. You canât teach chemistry and these kids have that.
LuckyAreWe
Wow! Didn’t even realize just how dominant of a shift he had! Good to see him play with confidence against a tough opponent
dcgirl98
They have good chemistry and play more confidently when together. They definitely need more ice time.
Jokercard08
I hope they learned their lesson after they got benched in the 3rd.
SwagOD_FPS
Kakko is elite no matter how much bs people talk about his lack of production. Just watch him play.
ThatPrettyCoolGuy
Crazy how we didnât see them in like the last 5 minutes of the third

Looking a power forward with a quick stick and great hands

When you watch the game, you don’t see Kakko. When you watch Kakko, you see the game.

Boggles my mind that Chytil, Kakko, and Fox didnât start the OT last night.
Patrickbateman54
Brilliant play. That goal only happens because 24.
Why did Kakko/Fox/Chytil not start OT??
Nyrfan2017
Watching the kids last night needs to be wake up to gallant give them responsibility pan kreider are not pulling there weight there was no reason why kakko and chytil shouldnât have started overtime
quicklearner123
Kakko is definitely putting it together, really the star out of the three. If it wasnât for some bad puck luck, he should have another 10 goals this season. I remember a stretch where either kakko would hit a post or the puck would just roll off his stick.
Laffy really needs to work on his skating this off season, this dude is soooo slow at the nhl level
