Canuck fans are OK with moving Horvat, but only if the other team agrees to take Rutherford, Allvin and Tocchet in the trade.
As good as Kuzmenko is, he's a winger, not a centre. By resigning him, they pretty much guarantee that they have to move Bo because they can't resign him. In a microcosm, I say keep Kuz. But depth on D and depth down the middle are so important these days. The Canucks have literally 2 guys who can win more face-offs than they lose. One is Bo. Pettersson is an incredible 2 way forward, almost Datsyukian, but he's not very good on the draw. That's a serious problem, especially if you're a soft team that can't get possession via body checks and other physical means. If you get rid of Bo, you have to figure out how to get Elias to improve in that key area, or make sure you get a solid defensive centre who can win draws, because that's what they need. Preferably on the back end, but more defensive minded, structure-minded players would be helpful.
