This was my first Canes game in person. I got to watch a whopping 45 seconds of the first period before I had to drop everything and leave to deal with a "family emergency." There was no emergency – my family just couldn't stand that I was out having fun instead of sharing in their constant state of paranoia.
Planning on trying again in a few weeks – and shutting my phone off this time.
I wish Atlanta had its team back. It kind of sucks that Raleigh-Durham with a little over two million has a team and Atlanta and Houston over three times the size has no team.
There's something to be said about players Giving It to opponents bigtime after being snubbed for all star consideration. Good lord, Marty Necas, those sharks players had families
