If only the Wings could put together a lengthy winning streak. That's why I don't get excited when they win 2 or 3 in a row, because then they turn around a lose the next 3, 4 or 5. The story of their season. They just can't seem to get anything going to where it is long lasting. The previous 2 games they won – great! They didn't play bad tonight. It's just that luck factor that they seem to lack.
Trust me I love my Red Wings and I'll ride or die with them just like any of our four sports teams here in Detroit but MAAANNN are they annoying as ALL HELL to watch this season!.. they give you NO hope as a team, even though we all know the process they're going through and what's Stevie-Y is trying to do BUT on the brighter side there are individual improvements to our young crop which is most important!. The team will get REALLY within the next year or so.. but the Buffalo Sabres are already making their mid-season leap and it's crazy to watch it develop before your eyes and I don't even watch the Sabres like that to know that.. it just makes you wish the Red we're evolving like them and the New Jersey Devils 😔.. HELL, even the Kraken are crackin! … Yeesh😒😌

Wow. Hellberg was lights out for the Red Wings. If he'd been playing merely average the Isles would've racked up six at least.
Terrible defense on that second goal. I'm not sure who that was but you gotta tie up the guy in front of the net. No excuse.
Wings have gotten in a habit of letting the other team control the puck for long periods. They gotta look to correct that going into next season.
Develop that defense better and hopefully some prospects come along.
I'd definitely sell at the deadline and pick up more picks. Wings need em.
