    The exact same thing happened in 2020 when the sharks played the capitals. Pretty sure these are the only 2 instances in NHL history of a team losing after scoring an empty net goal.

    I remember thinking after the EN goal, "Whelp! Looks like there won't be a Storm Surge in Carolina tonight!" I was wrong on so many levels! That comeback was unreal on so many levels! Also, this is why Necas is in the All-Star Game. San Jose did play a competitive game, which was more than I expected coming into this game. Also, liked when Reimer checked on Kotkaniemi after he was hit in the face by the puck.

    Wow! Play a solid road game make the game 4-2 with the empty netter and then blow it in the last two minutes to lose in overtime 5-4. Where have I seen this? A couple years ago against Washington in January again? Well for my sharks I’m not even surprised.

    if you loo at exactly 8:06, im the younger girl in the beige hoodie next to the dude in the camouflage jersey. I was jumping up and down i was so excited we won.

    I was at a minor league game tonight and couldn't watch this one. I got the notification that the Sharks scored the ENG and I thought it was over. I should know by now that, with this team, it's not over until it's over. I was content with the one point, but getting that second point is always nice

    Also Necas is a literal cheat code in 3v3

    What a game. Second time this year Carolina has come back to tie a game down multiple goals in the dying seconds of a game. First time they couldn't take care of business and lost in OT but this time we got the dub. Always remember it aint over til its over.

    I can't remember the last time I saw a team get scored on an empty net, and then come back and win the game…. incredible!

    Акулы хоть и ни на что не претендуют уже, но покусались с Каролиной. Как они умудрились правда за минуту сорок пропустить две? Ну так надо уметь😃

    I still really like Reimer. He was outstanding when he was here. I think he got a shutout one night and Abby was interviewing him on the bench after the game and the crowd was just chanting his name over and over. He had the biggest grin on his face. Never forget it. Hate he had to take the loss but glad the Canes won.

    Боже ж ты мой и опять акулы упускают победу на последних сек ведя в две шайбы…поменяв кипера на шестого и отыграть при этом две шайбы это очень редкое явление раз ну два за сезон,но это явление почему-то происходит с акулами причём третий сезон подряд(в позапрошлом так вашики отыгрались)…так главное ещё и овертайм проигрывают при этом…наверное лучше за Баффало болеть чем за этих неудачников…какие то акулы беззубые!

    So glad the Sharks tanked this one. Was really worried they were going to get two points. Gotta trade Couture, Meier and EK65 before Chicago trades Kane and Toews. Connor Bedard, here we come!!!

    Кто бы мог подумать, что в общем то унылый матч и катившейся к вроде бы победе Акул, + расслабило то обстоятельство, что они за две минуты ещё и в пустые закатили, решили, что матч сыгран и два очка у них а ракушке…! однако фортуна, увидев их расслабон, наказала, и выставила их дурачками…🙄🤔🥴😮
