With NHL players getting bigger and bigger, I would like to see the width of ice surface increased from 85 ft to 98 ft, or play 4-on-4 during regulation. I know that a change like this will never happen.

I'm not disappointed with the return for DeBrincat. Teams were aware that he was going to test free agency, and this would be a one and done season. To get a #7 for a rent-a-player, even one as accomplished as DeBrincat, was about the best possible scenario. If Korchinski is the player we think he is, it's one heck of a trade.
