Well if that is a reversion to the mean type of game in terms of shooting percentage, I’ll take it. Was not always pretty but I imagine the xG was clearly in our favor. Checking moneypuck… 3.7 to 2.3 makes sense. Still strong game from Grubauer, without a good game from him, things would have been a bit tender in the 3rd. Heading to the all star break with the outright division lead is huge. Let’s get some rest and heal up and get ready for the final stretch !

Great game from Gru. Would’ve been easy to sag without a lot of work in the first half of the game but he was sharp. CBJ easily could’ve stolen that game.
Also, Tolvanen is the greatest waiver pickup in recent history and I won’t hear otherwise.
Basically ran em off the ice for 56/60 total minutes, with the only 4 “owned” by the Jackets coming at the start of the second period!
Awesome to see Gru killing it. Not sure what I’m going to do without hockey during this break!
