  1. With Arizona you know that for the most part that they will give you a honest effort and in some cases take down some top teams out of nowhere. It seems that finally that they have some direction and that they are on the right track. Dylan Gunenther has played well and they have many more young players that will be coming up in due time and they are going to have a shot at a fantastic player in this upcoming draft.

  2. If Vejmelka stays in Arizona after the dead line I’m totally getting that reverse retro jersey with his name on it

  3. I really would love to see the Coyotes get Bedard. They haven never really had the generational player that you can build a team around. I feel like if the Coyotes can snag that first overall pick they can quickly climb the standings and finally be a cup contender.

  4. I’m curious if the Kings would take a shot at Vejmelka for the playoffs. Maybe you make some kind of deal where Petersen and a prospect or picks go the other way

  5. I hope you have a great time in Anaheim!! Enjoy the warmer weather and kick back and relax

  6. "The coyotes were not expected to be in the hunt". Love unintentional puns lol.

  7. Everything's probably going according to plan for the coyotes. Plans for the new arena in tempe are going forward, and I agree they're set to sell off some players and are in a good spot for the draft. It'd be insane for any team getting bedard, but they could definitely use a center. Vejmelka has been really solid in goaltending, and he's helped the team get wins this season.

  8. Lawson Crouse is such a beast. If you're going on a long Cup run or building up to something, he's a perfect fit for either situation.

  9. Keller and Vejmelka were their MVP's last year. I watched the Yotes nearly as often as my own team last season (when I could) and Vejmelka was the only thing keeping that team from being even MORE moribund most nights.

This year they've had two 3-game win streaks (1st time on the road; 2nd time at home) and a 3-1-0 streak. And dat's dat. But at least they've had 4-K people rooting them on at the Mullett Backyard and perhaps 1/2 that crowd on their side.

  10. Given all of the negative press on the team, and the usual fear and loathing that happens in a tear-down process, then add on the drama/stress of home rink uncertainty, I am wondering if this will have an affect on the on-ice capability of the team for a while. It can't be good playing on a team that is almost a joke.

  11. I'm no Coyotes fan, but I live in Phoenix and I want this city to have a good hockey team. That area they want to build the new arena looks like it could be pretty cool. I want to be able to go down there and watch a game when the Wings come to town, then go out to dinner with a pretty girl.

  12. For a team that's supposed to be tanking to get Connor, they're doing pretty good.

  13. The most important part of this season comes in May with the Tempe arena vote. If that passes (early polls look favorable) then this franchise will finally have something to look forward to.

I agree with Vejmelka being the MVP. Guy has been awesome for us.

Crouse is not getting moved, he is basically a lock for the C on the jersey.

Cooley coming next season is what I am looking forward to as a fan.

Thanks for the coverage, THG. Enjoy the break!

  14. I absolutely love the Coyotes young core. I'm still holding on to the belief that they should keep Chychrun unless they get a ridiculous offer.

In my opinion, this team is probably the most fun to watch that are in the Bedard sweepstakes

  15. Tbf most teams that are bad are bad for mostly 3-5years coyotes have been bad for whole their life 😀 would it be time to but the wissel to the bag and end this franchise and move it to somwhere where it would shine ? And if keller leaves that team has zero players to watch

  16. Acts 3:19-21
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began."

  17. Here come Cooley and Berdard!!! The best CA and USA Juniorplayers at the last tournament!! I’m all in for Coyotes.

  18. Why are all these pendants call the All-Star games, the All Star 'Break'? It's the No-Star Break – the stars do not get a break, the rest of the players do. It should be the No-Star Break, yeah, there is a 'break' in the schedule, but seriously, there is no break for the stars that play in All-Star games in all leagues.
