"Favorable offensive zone starts" The word your dancing around is "sheltered" Murray… sigh. Bruins, don't get your hopes up.
Sammy was good again he's been great considering he's never played this meay games and with so many starts in a row. Hopefully leafs can get him extended for decent contract
Murray flakes just before his old team OTTAWA (Oct and Jan "pulling the pin"). Clearly a psychological issue.
Samsonov is not the Russian Campbell….. it's Murray who is the Canadian Campbell.
I’m pretty sure Murray was gonna start and then nylanders shot up high deflected off Murray’s collarbone and hit his ankle
“And we had the royal rumble, that we had to watch for sure!” Nods his head emphatically. 😂
“No special treatment for press” im sure you guys don’t pay 160 dollars every game to sit above the 300s. I’m assuming if you just show up and have a badge you get in for free. Snuck Wayne Gretzky in last night. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Murray is injury prone – so he & Tavares should be protected and used wisely. Great Leaf regular season play. Will we ever see it in game 7 of a playoff series?
Samsonov is our future number 1 , he is showing us this now.Murray it would not surprised me if he was bought out in the off season, i was happy when Dubas signed Sammy to begin with cause he was my choice of goalies to sign last off season, now i want him extended, he is only 25 and at the end of this season he will have played 4 seasons. LMAO Washington gave up on him in favour of Keumper look at them now. congrats to Tavares on 1k games played 2 A In the game was a nice touch, as for Rielly it was nice too see him finally get the monkey off his back, him on the power play he aint there too shoot it is too pass the puck around thats why he only has 1 goal this year.just go back too look at his 20 goal season and look at how they were scored, they werent scored from the point they were on the rush goals.finally Boston is coming back down to earth with 3 L in a row, now we still might have a chance too catch them, they just need too really win those games against teams lower in the standings cause we know they can beat the better teams in the league.
Tbh, catching the Bruins would be nice, but if that's gonna happen they HAVE to win the next game, and they can't give up a single one of the easy games after the all-star break. Two Blue Jackets, two Blackhawks, one Habs, one Sabres. If they want to catch the Bruins, I'm gonna be blunt – they can't afford to lose a single point in that stretch. I don't care if Matthews is out, those teams fucking SUCK. The Bruins, by comparison, have the Caps, Stars, Preds, Isles, Sens and Kraken in that same stretch. Decent chance of them losing one or two in there, but you can't count on it…
As for Murray, though, I think the situation is fairly straightforward. You have to see if A) Woll is up to the task in the NHL, and B) if Murray's injury is season ending. If Murray is back around the same time Matthews is – then I'd stick with it. if Woll is up to the task – you stick with it. The only scenario where you trade for a goalie – and I'm gonna be real, outside of maybe Varlamov from the Isles, I really don't know who you get – is if you have no goalie depth besides Sammy AND Murray is done for the season. Otherwise, they have to prioritize trading assets for a big forward piece and maybe a defenceman as well? Personally, I like the idea of Horvat even if it would cost an arm and a leg – Matthews being out proves they need better center depth IMO.
