Sad to see Bo go, but I think this deal is pretty good
As a Canucks fan, I am super happy how lopsided this trade is in Vancouver 's favour. Now, we can use the core of Petey, Hughes, Kuzemko, Miller, Raty, and Demko and go for the Cup.

As a Canucks fan, I would have preferred Miller getting traded LAST year instead of Horvat this year. Now we have an expensive underperforming Miller and lose an always reliable and Mr "character personified" leader. Still, the Canucks, being in a bad situation, needed a change and the return wasn't too shabby. But if Horvat wins a cup … ugh!

As an Islanders fan, I'm split on this. I also think Lou is done. We need a top line winger.
Hate to see BoHo go but I really like this trade for the Canucks. Getting a 1st rounder for a player who could be a rental is a steal. 13th to 17th overall in a strong draft this year would be a big plus.

If this draft class wasn't as stacked as it is than I think this trade is fair but nah Vancouver definitely wins this trade if Aatu Raty reaches his potential
Bo signs a 7yrs at$8+mil/yr. Bad for Islanders. Bo doesn't sign and walks. Bad for Islanders. Canucks continue to fall and get top 3 pick. Good for Canucks. Islanders don't make the playoffs next two years. Good for Canucks. Canucks win this. That blows my mind as a Nucks fan.
Horvat did not want to leave he said he thought he will be a canucks forever
Great Trade for my Canucks. Its like getting 3 1st rounders as Raty was an expected mid 1st rounder before his drop off. Hes been very good since the draft.
Best thing about the trade is Horvat is gone , now they can retool the team , the cancer is gone

Trade works for both teams beauvillier is no scrub raty a nice prospect and a 1st rounder , being an islanders fan I can’t be upset with horvat he is in his prime and is an amazing player you need to give something to get something
Lavoie is incorrect here. Bo Horvat didn't want to leave the Canucks but he understands he wasn't going to get his dollar ask if he stayed in Vancouver so he was ready to move on.
