I feel like this has been reported multiple times already?

  2. There’s a possibility I could be on the move too 🙄

The Kings seem like a great possibility – have a lot of defensemen we can acquire. Personally, I see Demko going down as Schneider 2.0 with injuries going forward. Quite the gamble regardless, seeing bubble Demko in the playoffs might be flashbacks of Jonathan Quick in 2012 all over again.

Detroit needs a proper franchise goalie maybe swap with them

Ian Clark cranking the goalie-o-matic machine right now to assemble the next great goalie.

I’m good with this. Blow it all up! Bring in picks and prospects!

  7. Hopefully we can get Alex Turcotte, Helge Grans, and Jordan Spence. I’ll be happy to get either of them or get all of them.

  8. PetterssonsNeck

We better get a great haul for him

What team is going to trade premium assets for a goalie coming off of LTIR?

Seems super unlikely Demko moves by the TDL.

Demko to the Kings makes a lotta sense.

Just trade Demko and continue the demolition and rebuild.

The Canucks are several years overdue on this painful, but necessary, process.

    Fuck! Not Demmer 😭

Demko to the Wild for Wallstedt please… PLEASE, I asked nicely goddammit.

How close is he to returning from injury? I would think teams would wait until he is ready to play.

  14. NotoriousBananaHavoc

But why let him play get improved and trade him at his highest

Demko to Pittsburgh for Crosby, Malkin, and a first.

    You heard it here first.

So we’re trading away a franchise goalie, while our replacements are both not performing. Martin has gotten worse as the season went on and Delia seems like a solid backup. Neither seems capable of being a full time starter. At this rate we might end up trading Petey cause there’s no way he would stay for a full rebuild.

Crazy how one JT Miller signing has led to us completely blowing it up cause we can’t sign Bo, and management soured enough relationships within the team that a lot of them wants out

Trade to Pittsburgh to increase the odds of NYI missing the playoffs (this year and next).

    3D chess.

I don’t want to speculate, I’ll just wait and see. But shipping out Demko, that would be quite good for us. Looking beyond who do we run with? Delia has been more impressive than Spencer Martin, so I hope Delia gets more time the remainder of the season. But after that, where are we at with goaltending?

This is just Sportsnet reposting what Friedman said last week. He didn’t make any new comments on this.

  20. _Canuckle

This isn’t a new report and the timing wouldn’t make any sense right now imo… he’s still hurt

  21. ImAnAfricanCanuck

i get the feeling Demko has asked for a trade…

  22. PharoahNATO

Blow. It. Up. Bring Bedard home baby!

Jarry is a UFA at seasons end.

I’d rather trade Demko for the assets and try and sign Jarry as the starter while we groom Silovs, Ty Young or Koskenvuo…

I’d also like to point out that had DiPietro stuck around he’d possibly be seeing some NHL starts down the stretch here (I don’t think they’d want to call up Silovs and ruin his confidence) especially if we are in full tank mode.

As it stands, since he was traded, DiPietro still hasn’t seen even a single AHL start with the Bruins organization.

i’d honestly respect Allvin and JR if they moved Demko and committed to the fire sale
