Poor effort by the caps again finally kuzy scores. Been a mess since laviolette can't figure out line combinations. 2 points move on, but need to improve or fire laviolette sooner rather than later and make some trades on the forwards Mantha Ellar. Heck maybe backstrom at least 1 center needs traded with high salary to end the nightmare of laviolette figuring out who he needs to scratch every game. Me I don't see the caps re-sign laviolette if he doesn't at least get to the cup finals or a heck of a 7 game conference finals series. And this team looks to much a repeat of last year when Oshie and backstrom returned in January. Laviolette pulling lines out of a hat for 2 months scrapping to make the playoffs only because 9th place wasn't much a competition and the caps was a top team that fell to 8th. This year a repeat of that they'll fall out of playoffs. Think laviolette needs told the moment you fall to 9th your gone. You get eliminated in the first round gone. It's ridiculous you don't have a clue how to make the line up for a team that most all players are the same the last 3 years he's been here. Next year caps can start making player changes 3+ per year to get younger little by little or prepare for a full rebuild the year ovechkin retires.
