The Bruce comment about being sick of losing is alarming. It lines up with Patches comments a little too well…

From a design standpoint, this website is atrocious. Ads push the scroll bar around like a ragdoll, moving content up and down seemingly at random. I had to re-read several sections because that full page-length video display changed where the pagebreak was, moving content out of view as I was reading it.

From a content standpoint, this just kind of rehashed every other discussion on reddit and twitter, without offering any new analysis, insight, or viewpoint. It was like getting a weather report, then having someone summarize it for you after you read it already. In a classic writing trope, the question posed in the title is not answered.

We fell off that’s what happened. Hopefully we can get our shit together but man it’s depressing

Truth. They are not fun to watch anymore it’s just a struggle the whole 60 mins of regulation. So many missed opportunities, bad passes, puck dumping and shots. Not playing at NHl levels lately and it sucks.

The article doesn’t provide much info.

That being said, I think the losses are from a combination injuries piling up, and the adjustments needed when people come in and out of the lineup. Added to the injuries is a new coaching system, and a leadership gap from Stone being injured yet again. I think some of the players are also gun-shy because they don’t want to get injured again, so they’re taking more shots from the point and the outside, instead of fighting for the inside position.

it’s a poorly constructed roster. plain and simple. the sooner they take their medicine, blow it up and start the rebuild the sooner they can get back to contending.

They won’t make the playoffs. Crash and burn, they will.

no one besides our younger guys like cotter and LT care about winning, that’s one thing

Alls we do is dump the puck in and chase it around. Rarely set up an actual offense. I don’t see any other teams do it nearly as much as we do, but maybe I’m wrong. Literally doesn’t feel like I’m watching hockey..just..chase the puck around. We have good pieces capable of winning but it feels like I’m watching people very much not try to play the game.

It’s my fault. After watching Comcast shit all over the franchise Ed Snider built and continue to put horrible teams on the ice when we, for the first time in my life had a franchise goalie (Hart) I decided I was done with the Flyers.

I started rooting for the Knights as I love Vegas and go a few times a year (Just saw them for the first time Jan 12th), I love hockey, they weren’t in the same division, and Pebbles (who for some reason I really liked watching play) went to VGK in the expansion draft. Ever since I started rooting for them (Dec 26th) they’ve been playing horribly.

    It’s my fault, I’m sorry.

Bunch of overpaid players feeding off their own negative energy. No one to hold anyone accountable. As long as the check clears then who cares.
