Honestly, if we look at the depth of the Canucks forwards, it's looking really good. I'm hopeful for the future with this squad. I really hope they can build their defense out next season, and maybe get some young D-men. Anthony Beauvillier will have two years before he can be traded, and if he thrives he could net us a top 2 D-man.

Tank, trade everything (excepted petey, hughes, demko and kuzy), and be bad for 2-3years, do it properly instead of giving us the tiny slivers of hope every year. If we are lucky we can still sell petey and hughes on sticking around in Vancouver when our contending window

There’s a bunch of games coming up against lottery teams, if they can lose those games and more they might actually be able to fall further in the standings

Definitely tanking!! Not doing anything on the weak D so far, Luke Schenn getting traded, possibly Myers make team weaker before deadline. Demko n BB on the move as well. If all or some of these guys go before TD, definitely tanking. Unfortunately we’ll be good enough to not get Connor Bedard, possibly 5-6 pick. Think Coyotes is a done deal 1st overall for Gary Bettman’s team for a selling point bringing in fans, new arena, in Arizona…

With two first round picks, the Canucks should do well this upcoming draft.
The Canucks hoping to land Bedard in the draft is pathetic, the conditional 1st round draft pick from the islanders only happens this year if the islanders get the number 13 pick or higher in the draft or the Canucks will have to wait until the 2024 draft to get that first round pick from the islanders. Plus they still had to retain some of Horvats remaining contract from this year to make this shitty trade, this team just traded its best player for one decent player and some other guy and the slim possibility of a first round draft pick in this years draft , Aquilini needs to sell this team so new owners can properly rebuild this team before it goes bankrupt from stupid trades and outrageously stupid contracts .
I would like to see the Canucks shut it down for Demko this year for a higher draft pick! I don’t know how I feel about trading Demko.. but if they know sth that we don’t, then trade him away! But understand that it’s going to be very difficult to find/ trade for a number 1 goalie! But if we can get a star goalie with our 2nd rounder then I guess.. but I wouldn’t trade Demko right now
