Oh damn he swore uncensored in an LFR, you know the bruins and leafs rivalry is legit lol but I agree with Steve Brad probably felt big ratio’ing a smaller sports reporter and he felt the need to match that energy with Brad, I respect it.

I feel like Steve used to have a certain level of humility, which was endearing. I get a sense or arrogance from him now, which is less so.

Arguably the top Leafs commentator who never played hockey.

« Your favorite player saved a picture of me to his camera roll » or whatever is pretty awesome.

I see comments disliking Dangle. Dangle made me a fan and I’m from Montreal. He covered our playoffs and it was a lot of fun and I listened to him more.
Then I liked the Leafs and became a fan of them too.
He even inspired me (I’m a software developer) to get into sports analytics and hockey and build my own hobby software for NHL stats and learn a little data science along the way.
Legit this guy prompted me to learn about statistics and take an excel course because I loved his passion for the game.
He’s fun and funny and while I don’t like the SDPN today, as a product. I do like Steve as a fan and person. He has some really endearing takes when he does the SDPN. Really sweet and kind moments.
For me, he’s a genuinely good soul. Love him. Never miss an LFR.
That’s just me. I get how maybe his energy doesn’t jive with others. That’s cool. But for me, he’s perfect.

The thing about Dangle is that he legit loves this team. Like the rest of us. All the other shit to to the side we’re all after the same thing, gotta support that and each other.

Dangle complaining about yelling at refs is the biggest disconnect from him never having played sports

Big fan of Steve Dangle. Personally, I like his podcast more. He’s got great chemistry with Adam and Jesse. The exchange with Marchand was fun.
