  1. Anderson if traded will free 5 million plus on the salary cap ? could help to find a experienced goal tender at a resonable price. Allen could also be traded to teams who want a good 2 goaly like Allen.

  2. If they give us Alex Holtz and a first.
We can use the first to draft either Matthew Wood (RW 6'3" 190 lbs) or Charlie Stramel ( RW 6'3" 216lbs)

  3. To replace Anderson, I keep saying go and and bring back Domi. More consistent, more points more toughness and brings it every night.

  4. Prospect pool ranking has it right, sorry don't see it with Hutson and Roy at the NHL level. Trading Anderson would be a big mistake, they can't let all their veterans go and Anderson and Monahan are the only two worth anything…and Monahan is iffy with injuries. The rest will be moving on, Dadonov, Hoffman etc.
All the best to Carey Price.

  5. I think if the Habs got a proposal like the on toffoli they should consider

  6. Anderson for the Devil's 1st and Adam Graves and Bastian and Michael McCloud

  7. Ha Ha at Athletic ranking Habs prospect pool at 11th.
But what do you expect from them. I mean, they are the 13th ranked sports publication in the industry.

  8. Price needs to just retire already instead of just milking this out to get paid

  9. habs are by far the most delusional fan base. Reasonable cap hit at 5.5m is laughable. he is a washed up, injury prone, overpaid, bottom 6 player

  10. Price has to think about insurance paying his remaining salary so no comment until that contract runs out. Patrick Roy was a idiot thinking that Price should walk away from that money. Plus Josh Anderson a good player but his disappearing from game to game no consistency. But agree need value for him for sure.

  11. Carey Price is on LTIR, which means an insurance policy is paying the bulk of his remaining owed salary (~$32M/ 4yrs). With this comes scrutiny from said Insurance provider, which in turn means that he cannot come right out and say "I'm done", let alone hold a press conference and state this. I suspect if he did so, it would jeopardize his status on LTIR, and the Habs would not be eligible for cap relief for the next 4 years. So I'm fine with waiting until he actually retires to watch that press conference.
As a Habs fan I thank him for making the Habs look better than they actually were these many years, and as Okanagan Resident welcome the Price Family back to the BC interior.
    PS same applied to Weber

  12. Sorry to break it to yall but no way in hell are devils giving up sniper prospect Holtz in a deal for an inconsistent and injury prone Anderson lol love the passion of canadian teams but for christ sakes stop over-valuing your players 🤣

  13. 30 goals? More like 30 pts Anderson. Also the Devils are not trading Holtz for this guy

  14. These takes are delusional 💀
Anderson is not worth a 1st rounder or Holtz

  15. Not hockey related but something I've noticed when both of you are hosting. Jesse's microphone level is much lower, if you get that fixed up it will be a much smoother delivery.

  16. Lets be real here, Anderson is not gonna be part of another cup run, cause its gonna be a loooooong time until we do that again, so trade him when you can!!!

  17. If Montreal keep trading away their best players, it will be more than another 30 years before they can contend for a Stanley Cup.

  18. Not a good idea to let go of Anderson, you get him grinding towards the net like no other, i think the Habs need a guy like him. And he's Healthy!!

  19. 5.5 mil in cap space will go far in signing players like Cole Caufield and Connor Bedard. 😉

  20. Price brought us to a cup final and those memories were priceless 😂 see what I did there… just kidding I know not funny but real shit I had such great memories with my dad watching Price beat the leafs and bring us to a cup final it would have been nice for him to win it but still I loved it he’s still one of the best to do it if he wasn’t on a poor managed Canadiens team he would have won multiple cups somewhere else for sure 2 cups maybe 3 and Montreal NEEDS TO TRADE ANDERSON!!! Montreal isn’t planning on contending for at least 2 more years and with all the young talent that is coming up does Montreal really have room for him in the top 6!? I don’t think so and when we are contending I don’t feel like we should be paying him 5 million to play on the 3rd line but also on the other hand the cap is going up and maybe it goes up enough where him making 5 million is almost like making 3 million because you do now have that extra money to sign more players because the cap went up I don’t know if that makes sense but it’s really hard but I say we trade him and we could probably pull a good return from the devils and keep Monahan

  21. 11th with Roy ranked way lower than he should be and Slavkovsky and Ghule not included is not that bad. Roy isn't ranked in the top 100 prospects and I think he should be, and Wright was included in the rankings while Slavkovsky wasn't. You make those changes and the Habs are top 5 for sure.

  22. Anderson is a beast and killed the Leafs 2 years ago in the playoffs – speed, toughness and scoring touch. He will cost a lot.

  23. The devils do not want an overpriced, under performing veteran to mess up their salary structure. Anderson has 17 points in 48 games. He is a bum. We have Nathan Bastion who does the same thing for $1 million per year. NO Thanks, you guys are dreaming!

  24. trade josh there’s literally no point in keeping him around, we’re gonna be rebuilding for a good 3 years minimum

  25. anderson and xhekaj should be offff the table because of all the young guns in the system.

  26. Who wouldn’t want Josh to protect and play Jack Hughes like Wilson with Ovie?

We need to protect our smaller skilled players. Holtz – Shari and our late round 1st this year.
