  1. Boeser hasn’t been the same after the incident where he ran into the open gate left open by Virtanen. I do think he will hit 25-30 goals after he is traded, he is very talented.

  2. I'd love to see Brock in Buffalo.
Put him on a line with Cozens & Oloffson….
I'd give up Mittelstadt, Bryson, (main roster).. Rosèn, Portillo or Johnson
(2 of those prospects) & 2nd in 2023 for Brock & Luke Shenn

  3. Brock is grossly overpaid! Great shot, good passer, and decent at tips. HOWEVER, he is very slow, he isn't dynamic, he isn't tough, he doesn't show up in the playoffs like Bo or Petey. Let him go…

  4. Boeser is a good player but he isn't someone who is going to put a team over unless they are already at that point. He isn't worth the contract he is currently on either. He can score in bunches but he doesn't bring much else to the table and he gets hurt alot. I'd be surprised if a team gives up a lot for him

  5. C'mon now….Slo Bo peaked this year, whilst Slower Brock peaked last year. Getting rid of these slower players is the correct way to go.

  6. I always had a soft spot for Brock

The "what ifs" are a brutal thing to think about

  7. Management of this team is a total joke. They are a cap team despite the GM saying they need to remain flexible. If they continue to try and "rebuild on the fly" instead of tear down then they're about to be the new Sabres.

  8. I’m okay with up to 50% retained. Not going to do anything for next 3-4 years so why not. Get a low first or high second

  9. Good riddance. Boeser has been on the decline since his rookie years. I'm surprised he even got an extension for his current contract. I would have tried to trade him before his last contract was up.

  10. Look, i know this isnt a popular opinion, but Im right. The primary reason Brocks numbers arent alot better this season is his role has changed.

Kuzmenko has taken his spot on PP1 and in the top 6 for the most part. Kuz has turned out great and his contract is a bit cheaper, but the value loss on Boesers trade value it a wash at best.

They should hold Boeser till the end of the season, give him some more opprtunity and move him in the off season when he will likely have more value.

  11. Boeser is slow and lazy and a defensive nightmare. He is playing like he just doesn't care anymore. He needs to find a new home and once regain the passion for the game. Bye bye Brock. I'd take a low 2nd rounder for him.. I can't see the Canucks getting much. But he's got to go.

  12. He is a soft player he needs to go to a strong team. Could flourish if he is allowed to play his game. It could be that he himself needs more time to heal. When healthy and motivated he is pretty good.

  13. The Brock Star is going nowhere fast, as is. Since he has been playing better and is about to be the bumper guy on the PP and will get quality minutes on the first or second line, his production will improve going into the trade deadline. This will increase his value and will reduce the amount the Canucks will have to give up to get rid of his bad contract. Most likely he will be dealt in the summer, the Canucks retaining salary 25% in addition to taking back another bad contract of lessor value. Garland is far more likely to go as he is just slightly underperforming his contract and he too is playing much better and more likely to play up to his contract. The most likely guy to get traded is Luke Schenn as he has a great contract and is worth more than his contract, by far. He will go as a rental, maybe a third or a second if they hit the jack pot. The Canucks had to retain 25% salary and taking a bad contract back to get rid of Bo so that proves that it is really hard to get a trade done at all without giving up something. The only value the Canucks got back was two prospects, one completely unknown (1st round pick) and a second round pick that is shaping up to be a third line center, and the most prized of it all is the cap space when Beauvilliers contract expires after next year when they get another 4.1 in cap space which is a biggie.
