I love Colby Barlow as I’m from Owen Sound, but, I’m not sure if he has as high of a ceiling as a guy like Brayden Yager. Although, he has a low floor. I think he definitely will be at least a solid 3rd line checking forward.
I’d rather have Cristal over Yager tbh.

If Montreal gets Bedard, then Kidney has to be traded from Montreal….. since transition to Gatineau he's gotta better ppg then Bedard!!! Then St Louis also, cannot sit on Mr Bolduc either out of Quebec and is required to trade Mr Bolduc to the Sens!! Do I see Columbus picking up Mishkov, no. Their sitting on Dumais, why would they want another sniper down the right side? To me they need center help, they have tons of young D coming so to me, its center help.

0:50 That's not entirely accurate. Columbus has an 18.5% chance of winning the lottery but a 25.5% chance of landing Bedard (based on the odds from last year which might be tweaked slightly). There's a 7% chance that one of the Wings, Isles, Preds, Caps, or Flames win the first lottery and since they can move up a maximum of 10 slots they'd move up to somewhere between 2nd and 6th and the Blue Jackets would pick first.
If Montreal walks away with bedard and Will Smith AND BEDARD COMES FROM FLORIDAS PICK!!!! I would be so happy for soooooo long!! But if it doesn’t work out like that Montreal should still be very excited with the potential players they can walk away with
should the Habs manage to make a sensational trade before the deadline and pry another first round pick for this years draft. {protected or not} im thinking they draft a goalie. my question is after the world juniors are there any goalies with that elite potential that will be available and have first round potential. otherwise expect that extra first round pick to possibly be traded for said goalie.

Even if Habs get Bedard (please God!), they won't split up Caufield and Suzuki. Those 2 are gold together. Why break up a great duo?

I know Michkov is probably the most talented after Bedard but why would Columbus select another RW when their prospect pool is already too heavy on wingers, especially on the right side? Even with their juniors prospects they have Dumais, Dolzhenkov, Rysavy and Fisher which were all selected the past two years in the draft with seeming the 1-3rd lines for Columbus team lockdown for the forseeable future with Laine, Chinakhov and Marchenko while their current prospect pool has no true potential 1C as LDBB and Voronkov are looking to be 3/4Cs. Unless you think Columbus is going to offer good money to Larkin there is no question they are going to take the best available center. The only thing Michkov allows is flexibility trading Laine in 3-4 years but you still haven't answered the center question and next year is more of a defensive draft so you're probably not going to get an answer there either.
