That would be a hell of a rental. If Larkin comes to the conclusion that he has to test free agency for the contract he wants next year, and decides he wants to come here to get more eyes on him beforehand, we could potentially get him under value. He has a no trade clause that kicked in this year (so he could strongarm Yzerman into being traded to where he wants to go), and it’s a buyers market…
Trying not to get my hopes up but if you don’t want to give up knies or a 1st for a genuine top 6 guy, he might be the best option.
