Little things are getting better. Like Girgs' goal, Krebs battling behind the net for the puck. Gets checked, but does NOT fall. Earlier in the season, 10 out of 10 times he falls on that play. This time, gets the puck to Okposo, slides to Girgs, easy goal. It was Krebs staying on his feet that made that one possible. If guys get stronger, that will happen more often. (Thinking guys like Jost, Quinn, Peterka, Olofsson, Mitts…)
They only need to get a little more physical in certain games at certain times so they don't have rely on grit and hustle 💯
This is a special team, the skating is worth watching by itself lol
It’s gonna be hell of a race with these other teams being so close to each other
I like the old rule. Win, lose …or split the 2 points in a tie. Call me old school. And while I'm at it. Home teams should wear white. Road team brings the colors.
I hate the shootout….
I feel we should play 3 on 3 of OT for 2, 5 minute periods.
No winner by then, let it be a tie….& both teams gets 1 pt.
I said it before I will say it again this team is fun to watch.
I think the issue people are trying to argue with the loser point is that one game should not be worth 3 points and another game be worth 2 points. Hypothetical situation: What if Chicago and Columbus play 10 games a season… do you think it would be fair to the rest of the league if those games went to extra time and let’s say 8 loser points were awarded to either of those teams?
Buffalo played great! Dahlins non-goal was only 2 tenths of a second behind or Buffalo would have won this in regulation. Featuring the Workhorse from Krebsville?? What a board grind by Krebs to work that out to Okposo, a great play by all. Guess they wanted to 100% Sammy and Cozens, and that gave Asplund a chance. Clague is doing a great job in place of Sammy. Smart 3rd period plays to ensure 1 point but had some great looks. UPL played really solid…minus the shootout.
If Dahlin's goal would've counted the Sabres win that game
Great road trip. I’m excited for where this team is headed. And if a game is worth 2 points then where does the extra point get pulled out of? Overtime should be 4 on 4 and maybe 3 on 3 for the second overtime.
That game could not have been more close. It could have gone either way. Back and forth the whole game. Sabres have a winning attitude this year. They just keep coming no matter what you throw at them.
I was Hit every time I Jumped over the boards 😂
So proud of the boys. Played very well even without Cozens & Sammy
1st time watching this video. I thought the guy hosting was Cam Neely
This had the look and feel of a real playoff game and really happy about how UPL was pissed off after the shootout.
I heard that Quinn may be used in a trade, please, he is going to be a superstar one day! We may not have had the hits but it did not feel like we were being overwhelmed physically
UPL .
✊🏽
They look like they are going on after The Regular Season
Yesterday, we line shuffled because of exhaustion and the lack of Cozens. It was rocky at points but they played great still.
Krebbie had a huge hit in the game, dude is a finesse player but goes out and hits and fights, if he can do that anyone on the team can. Asplund looked like he was figure skating, all the fans who said he was elite lol, Selke my tail.
UPL in shootout looked like Lehner, remember he lost every single shootout.
Reading other sites & comments I see the following in many comments or posts….
They don't view the next wave of prospects (those drafted in 2021 & 2022) as long term fits with the Sabres if they are not currently on the Sabres roster. They view them as "assets" to acquire veterans like Timo, Karlsson or P Kane (or those extra 2nds). This is where GMKA (thankful) views them as pieces to the finished rebuild that will lead to a Stanley Cup (or more).
I was totally impressed with the puck movement by the Sabres. In Winnipeg they were wizards….As far as trades i only want to see a defenseman. I cant see Adams messing with young guns by bring in a high priced player. We have the future cap spent with the players we have. Thank you for all you do on your channel!! We need T- Shirts saying….Roam Nation!!
I was at the Wild game. It was pretty even all things considered. We seemed to trade dominant moments. This team is scary good.
