Can anyone explain to me why Fluery is getting starts over Gus?
Besides reputation, I can’t think of a single thing he’s doing better than Gus. Every stat backs this up.
Its funny that they are the coyotes but we are the ones that bit off our own legs to get away.
Well, it was nice being stress free for a week
The schedule gifted us an win coming out of the all star break.. how the fuck can we not capitalize on that
That loss was painful and I’m rather upset.
BUT HOLY SHIT IM SO HAPPY HOCKEY IS BACK
Just fucking embarassing
Came to see everyone blame Fleury for our piss poor offense.
Third period was full of lazy passing from everyone (Kaprizov, Boldy, Zuccarello included).
What are the pros and cons of setting Kirill up in the slot?
Too many penalties again
Zero chemistry, zero heart. Team is trending downwards again at the worst time
Well that sucked
Terrible loss to a terrible team
This team would probably have a lot more 5 on 5 scoring if they weren’t constantly taking penalties.
Time to switch up the lines.. whatever the fuck they have going now isn’t working.. it’s like it’s almost good but not quite. Rotate the centers until something clicks. I don’t care who goes where but we need new looks for every line.
Kap is probably on the same pace as last year maybe a little less but I’m certain if he gets someone besides Steel he will start getting 2-3 points a night. We should not lose to the coyotes. Switch it the fuck up.
Can we not put the blame on Fleury for once? The team looked like complete ass in front of him, lazy and unmotivated despite being behind in the standings and needing to get these easy points. Hell we had 6 penalties against this bottom feeding team, just a horrible performance.
Embarrassing, frustrating, mind boggling
Call up Rossi or walker can’t be any worse than steel. Black hole on the top line
They’ve been playing like this for 3 weeks now. They lucked out against Buffalo and Philly but they’ve played like dog shit. No defense, horrible passing, way too many penalties. This is a team of two guys and whoever decides to do something that night.
The frustrating thing about this roster: you expect young players to be inconsistent, you expect veterans to put up a consistent effort and keep games close.
This group of veterans has a way of almost disappearing at times.
Sell the team, move the team, fire everyone even somewhat associated with the team, trade all the players, etc. ^/s
Identity line has been absolute dogshit this year, I figured there would be regression but fuck they are awful. Also Steel can go now, he is bringing nothing at this point.
We have so many character guys I’m starting to think they are building this team to be the ultimate locker room. That counts for something, hella locker room vibes at least
This team has some serious issues. And they aren’t making any adjustments to fix anything.
One of the best 5v5 teams in the league marched to the box all night and still should have won. Can’t take that many penalties but man did those refs suck and called every little thing. So many of those calls were bullshit. Same for some of the AZ calls. Just let them play 5v5 and quit making it a ref show game
I’ll say it…can we please get this RedGenie character out of this sub for good? Has not said ONE positive thing about this team all year. His hate for the team, specifically Flower is beyond silly.
What the f was Addison doing on the McBain goal? Your partner (Middleton) is taking a shot from the other side and your at the face off dot on the other side. In a tie game too. He’s not getting it.
My god you people. Both power play goals right over flowers shoulders as he crouched down. Stand tall when they are that far outside. Literally stand up 1/2 inch and that puck glances off the shoulder.
The breakaway should have been a piece for cake too. But I realize the defense has problems, our offense can’t score, but fleurys gotta take some responsibility in this
The dude didn’t even put a deke on mcflurry went forehand backhand right over his glove.
