The saving grace on the Mangiapane goal was it deflected off the goalie before going in the net. If it hadn't i'll bet it would have been called back. I mean it would have been a goal either way but that's not how the NHL sees it

Im gonna have to disagree with the “stepping up to protect your teammates”. There shouldn’t be a fight after every big hit.
The Game last night had a ton of electric moments. Hands down one of the most competitive games i’ve witnessed this season and this is coming from a Avs Fan. Great hit from Jacob Trouba on Kadri. Trouba gets a shit ton of flak all the time from fans and Rangers Fan but man what a game he had last night. Way to step up for your team. Hell of a Game. The Flames Flame got burn out in that dog fight. I feel you on watching Rangers Hockey, feels like i find myself watching their games a lot.

Jacob Markstrom has been doing some of the weirdest stuff I’ve seen a goalie do. As a habs fan I usually watch them when I can and when Montreal is facing Calgary Markstrom always comes so far out of the net and it ends up costing a goal. This isn’t just against the habs though. Against other teams do.. I got no clue why he does this maybe he’s tryna get extra cardio

I thought Markstrom got fooled by Chytil the way many goalies are these days. Many players have figured out how to leave the blade of their stick open, showing they are going top shelf, and then kind of turn it over like a hooded wedge and and put it five hole as the goalie tries to raise his arms. I could be wrong, but something in his release looked unnatural.
