At this point we may actually creep into a WC playoff berth purely off loser points smh

  2. Team leaving Markstrom out to and hang dry? ✅

    PP being total ass ✅

Trouba living rent free in everyone’s head ✅

Huberdeau refusing to shoot the damn puck ✅

Lucic is still here for some reason ✅

    Another OT Loss ✅

Fuck this and see you in the next one.

Hit a bunch of posts and lose in OT, the 2022-2023 Flames classic!

That was a dirty ass hit by Blais. Seems to be an unpopular opinion outside of some flames fans. But I said what I said

I know this team’s got bigger problems, but last night was the first time I’ve had a problem with Looch. Before then he was just playing where he was slotted.

But last night. Why are you here? You’ve got someone on the other team laying monster hits and there’s no response. Lucic should’ve been out there brutalizing people and there was nothing… same could be said for Zadorov too.

Marky hasn’t been as bad as this sub makes him out to be, but damn dude has one W in the past month and just five in the past two months.
Also I’ve been a big Looch supporter but there was no defending this game. Just looked awful.

At least glen gulutzan had the balls to scratch wideman when he was done as an nhler.

Lucic has been done for over a year, and this was not the first time he was a ghost when the physicality came. Sick and tired of the favouritism to appease egos or whatever other stupid rationale is behind it.

I don’t really understand why everybody is so pissed off about the game. There was hits, fights, leads, ties, big saves, atmosphere was amazing, what not.

Flames came back from a deficit 3 times, they gave up a lead once. This team would have lost this game 4-1 two months back, so progress is there.

They had a 9 day break and they responded well against a good team on the road (AGAIN). Marky was solid (though there were a few head scratcher decisions by him). I’m not gonna start calling out individuals since we all know who needs to get their shit together.

For once we got a call going our way. I was certain that the Bread goal would be called back, so I’m not gonna bitch about reffing.

So far, Flames have 3pts out of 4 on this road trip. If there was a game to lose, I would consider it being this one. If they keep playing with this intensity and clear up the gaffs, they will be fine. Cheer up fire fans, on to the next one.

These next 7 games are absolutely crucial – Detroit, Buffalo, Ottawa, Detroit, NY Rangers, Philly & Arizona. No B2B’s, all of those teams except NYR are below us in the standings. Then we have a real tough stretch of Vegas, Colorado, Boston & Toronto which brings us to the trade deadline.

This team needs to take a look at how other teams like Tampa play in OT.

Winning the draw is #1 priority and puck possession is #2. They skate laps around the ice and only shoot if it’s a high scoring chance. Boring as f to watch, but it wins games

I don’t really get mad at games like these. An OT loss against a good team like the Rangers isn’t bad. But when you lose to teams like Chicago, these are the points you need.

The next game will tell us a lot about this team. The first game after a 9 day break doesn’t mean much (like Vasilevskiy let in 7 goals last night), I don’t think they even had a chance to practice yet. Let’s see how they bounce back on Thursday

  12. Suzaku94

Idk how others feel but I personally don’t want us to make the playoffs this year. I don’t see this team going deep in their current state, and I would much rather get a decent pick

At least minnesota had a good loss against arizona. lets root for Cros’ 87 and the preds tonight.
