    Don’t woof at me if I’m wrong, but the oilers are 6.8 Mil over the salary cap, if they trade away foegole and puljujarvi (plus some other assets) for Kane, if u retain 50% of kanes salary that’s about 5.75M (the same as pujujarvi and foegole combined, so they would have to trade away Barrie plus someone with a contract of at least 3 Mil if they want to resign McLeod and get kane

    Just my two cents but adding Kane is silly move . Yes he can add some scoring punch but they already have that covered what they need is some solid upgrades on the defensive side to balance the team out and create a well rounded team

    Whatever I think the oilers need to be dumping cap not spending it until next season, if Bouchard grows even more through the season I can see him wanting lots of money. As an oiler fan what’s a extra year of waiting for a cup.

    I really think they should just focus on getting McLeod signed and run with what we have and then make a decision later in the season on where the Oilers need more help before the deadline.

    I will keep my team autographed retro jersey that’s now 20 years old . I agree with some of the comments I would rather see McLeod signed and a trade giving a tougher defence . Kane is more of a nice to have not a must have. Keep the vids rolling.
