I’ve driven here from Northeast PA twice. Once as a broke college student, and once to bring a car down. 17 hours and change … and it’s a good thing I had 20 years in between to forget how much it sucked the first time. I’ll NEVER do it again.

I’m just east of Toronto and cross at either Buffalo or Detroit. It’s usually closer to 23-24hrs with the gas, food and pee breaks having 3 girls in the car. We do the straight drive usually, but have stopped off at the Georgia aquarium and the lost sea in TN. Enjoy your travel and game!

My friend drove down from Hershey, PA to be here this week (tomorrow is my daughter’s birthday) and I once drove up to bring her back down here and boy, is that rough!!

Its a great drive, I do it every summer. Washington,DC area is fucked all day everyday, and Richmond suffers at rush hour. Beyond that its smooth sailing.
Try to wait until Maryland for gas, gasbuddy.com has a nice price map of the country, can even plan your trip with where to stop.
