It’s almost like it works
Yet Goodrow and Vesey are playing more in every situation, they are pulled off the ice for the 4th line.
The wins are fun, but this stuff is going to be our death in the post season along with Gaut, Krav, Hajek, and Jones being scratched for garbage players.
The kids have been insanely good and deserve more time.
Don’t you know better than to use so called “numbers” and “data” to appeal to GG? This “witchcraft” will get you nowhere with him. Know your audience!

What is so essential about this to the team’s cup hopes this year is for matchups. If teams now need to use their top defenders against the kid line it should open up the top lines for some much much better scoring opportunities. Pick your poison
Chytil is the team’s best center. Only reason Mika has more points is due to PP and SH situations as well as getting more ice time.
It sucks that we have 3 pretty good lines and then the 4th line consisting of AHL players. That entire line has 0 goals in over 80 total games played and responsible for a lot of the goals and prime chances against while Gautiher, Krav ride the pine. The management has to recognize that we are not going to win with that 4th line in the regular rotation.
Push Goodrow to 4th, replace Bleh and Leschshyn with Gaut, Krav. Line should look like this every night:
Mika, Panarin, Krav
Chytil, Kakko, Laf
Trocheck, Kreider, Gaut
Goodrow, Vesey, Cuyle or whoever they want to rotate in. This 3rd line will have so much more speed and with Gaut driving to the net for many scoring opportunities.
I will never not be confused and frustrated at how this franchise had one of the quickest, most competently executed rebuilds in recent memory, drafted a bunch of gifted, exciting talents, and then has displayed so much reluctance across two head coaches to let those young talents cook. There is no situation, ever, in which Jimmy Vesey and Barclay Goodrow – who to be clear I think are very talented bottom 6 players! – should be getting more ice time than any of Chytil, Laf, or Kakko.

You move the puck and apply a lot of pressure. The 3 kids know how to swarm the opponents in their zone. Its great hockey
