I’ll be honest, I didn’t like this pick when the Preds made it. I remember quite a few people thinking he was a head case, and 9 suspensions later they would seem correct. Obviously this has Lizard Man written all over it who prefers this style of player.

Not to overreact but this guy’s ceiling is probably 3rd line energy guy *at best*. Probably Austin Watson 2. and that russian center they also picked in round 1 isn’t showing anything good at all… Josi/Duchene/Forsberg etc are gonna start aging and *these* are the guys they’re picking to try and pick up that weight. How has management made so many bad moves but it still hasn’t sunk yet?? crazy
From the translation and the mention of nine suspensions, I just want to point out that in the OMJHL, if you have three fights in a season, you get suspended a game for every fight after that, so that plays into the total of his suspensions. He has a couple uglier ones, mainly the spitting one that was prior to the Preds drafting him and then he got one for a high stick in a game, but the total doesn’t bother me as much knowing it is a league mandated fighting add-on.
