  1. this is the guy who signed morgan to a 7+ mill deal lol we will get scraps for trades again this year and hope for the cup pffff

  2. Despite limited (none) playoff sucess, we'd be dumb not to extend dubie. He's iced one of the best teams in the league every year and has proven he's very good at drafting. I trust him to run this team successfully for the next decade

  3. I'm new to the sport of hockey big fan of EPL,Serie A, and La Liga , some day probably I will become a fan of the NHL and have great discussions with all of you on chat Cheers

I hope people realize but most people don’t. This team is full of boys, you need men to win! There are no men on the Maple leafs team, nor any men running the team. Shanahan was a cancer and a piece of sh*t in every locker room he was in! And people wonder why we have the current team we have! Where is the little boy Matthews!

  5. Team is missing one piece for the playoff run (just like last year) – TOP6 left winger (and no, it's not Jarnkrok).

  6. FIRE THIS BUM! He's had years to sort the goaltending out; now the Leafs have TWO BACKUP GOALIES, no number one; and the defense is still a problem. How much longer do we have to put up with THE THREE STOOGES? DUBAS, SHANAHAN AND KEEFE. As long as these incompetents are around we'll have more of the same; if not a first-round exit, they'll be out in the second round; if the team makes it past the first round of the playoffs, this fool will be celebrated as a hero. God help us; I was there when the Leafs won the Cup in 1967; there won't be any Cup with the Stooges still here; and we had a visible owner when Harold was around; who's in charge now? Men in suits hiding in the shadows. DUBAS has proved that he doesn't know what he's doing; he's capped the team out so they can't afford a top goalie. Samsonov has worked hard, and he'd be a very good backup; but where's the number one? It sure as hell isn't Murray. GO LEAFS! And clear out that worthless front office.

  7. Need d man big body and a tough bottom 6 center with grit and backup… 3 pieces

  8. The playoffs are so unlike the regular season it is like playing and war. The team with the talent, grit, endurance and health wins all the time. The Leafs are still missing the grit and for that reason will not go far again. If they can beat Boston than anything can happen but that is a big if.

  9. I know we haven't gotten outta the first round yet but look who we lost to. Not exactly chump teams. Any team we lost to has gone on to an extended run. Bad luck does play into it. Yes we need to get more grit but, just sayin. What I'm looking for is Matthews to put the team on his shoulders instead of being what I think is him concerned with his personal stats and trophy collection. We need more from the big four and more from our third and fourth line when the first two lines are shut down in the playoffs.

  10. From the information that I got March 3 is the last day of the what we call the transfer window ,on this day players are moved from team to team on a money transaction only ,I noticed that teams ask for young players and future draft picks these are two things that a club needs to have some kind of success in the future ,to give up young players and futures is not a good way to do business specialty of you are getting older player's

  11. The ONLY Player that I think the Leafs should get is … MAX DOMI . Got to get Rid of … Kyle ( Dumb Ass ) Dubas , a REAL GM would have NOT burned 2 first round picks to get rid of players ( Mrazek , Marleau ) .. NOT burned 2 first round picks to get old players ( Foligno , Muzzin ) , .. A REAL GM would have kept the talent that the team ALREADY had .. Kapanen .. .. Marchment .. Mikheyev .. Brown .. Martin .. Grundstrom .. Durzi .. Moore .. Lyubushkin .. Barabanov .. Rosen .. Borgman . . a REAL gm would not keep getting SMALL NOTHING players ..Bunting .. Engvall .. Nick Robertson .. Joey Anderson .. Jared McCann .. Denis Malgin .. Nic Petan .. a REAL GM would NOT have signed an Average Defenceman .. ( Reilly ) for 7.5 Million a Year , a REAL GM would have traded Nylander ( Dog Fucking Floater ) to Carolina when he had the chance . Look it up , this is Dubas' History . Call up … Gaudette .. Gogolev & Mete' . The Leafs need a REAL GM .

  12. In the NHL are you allowed to buy players , you have the money you should be allowed to buy

  13. Muzzin is damaged goods now. Too many injuries makes him too risky for a regular spot in the lineup especially when there are better players that would play a full season/playoffs. Does not benefit the Leafs for him to come back into the lineup. Sorry, just my opinion. Not hating on him. Leafs are a better team without him in the line up.

  14. From all the comments that I read in this site Mr Dubas is not a very popular person even though his club is having a strong season ,I guess he's unable to satisfied everyone

  15. They have to extend this guy. I don't care if they beat Tampa and Boston this season or not, he's been terrific, it's just the core letting him down when it really counts.

  16. The only intimidating player in our lineup is Simmonds, and he rarely plays. This is a huge concern. Dubas has had years to balance out this roster.

  17. Leafs have to beat tampa boston and possibly Carolina to Make the finals with Murray and samsonov in net. Not happening

  18. 60+ year Leaf fan here and will be till the day I die. Broke my heart many times, but they will also be my team. GO LEAFS GO!

  19. Sounds like you should aquire some dman that aren't always hurt and can play playoff hockey and get some players to protect your star players so they aren't playing scared or allowed to get rag dolled and have no consequences

  20. He's bright, likeable and hugely irritating at the same time. It's one thing to recognize that players stepped up during a stretch of games in the regular season but the playoffs are another country. The playoffs are a war zone. The only defender who plays hard is Giordano. The defence is soft, Kyle.
The Leafs need more muscle on the backline and on the wings. Everyone can see it.

  21. I like Dubas but I'm getting sick of his nothing bugers… like fucking take swing at anyone!

  22. People need to remember that covid hurt the Leafs way more than alot of teams because of the timing. Covid literally hit during our window and after the big contracts got signed. The cap should be much higher and Dubas would've been able to get more depth. Cant really blame Dubas because of a pandemic screwing things up. I think hes done a great job all things considered.

  23. This, beautiful person has created greatness 🙌 they just gotta come together even more and with the training and all the tribulations. They gotta beleaf

  24. Once again, the paid for pundits shameless pandering to the Shanaplan, good grief, drink the kool-aid and pass the doobie, er, I mean, Dubas. Aside from the gifts ineptitude bore: Nylander, Marner and Matthews, Dubas an company have developed interchangeable bottom tier contributors. He traded away grit and determination in Kadri for Kerfoot. Last year Rielly was exposed by McDavid as a pylon, so of course was rewarded with an egregious contract to which Pasternak initialed with an exclamation point last game. I've been a Leafer for over 50 years, seen and suffered thru it all, and Rielly is nothing but this decades version of Jake Gardiner and depending upon him will lead to yet another first round exit. Shame on you, Kyle, this will be your epitaph.

  25. Really appreciated the commentary about Matt Murray and Joseph Woll. They're both excellent goalies and they, along with Samsonov and Källgren, give the Leafs great depth in goaltending. Giving Woll an opportunity to come up and play is critical for his development and that's what a GM looks at, the team as a whole and it's development. Keep up the great work Kyle. Your hard work is really appreciated.
