This team is basically equivalent to the fireplace channel on tv

You can see the Flames, but there’s absolutely no heat coming from them.

  2. MisfitFlame

That loss is completely unacceptable. Something needs to be changed in management

  3. The-Reddit-Giraffe

I keep forgetting that I’m supposed to be having fun watching this team

  4. xThunderstruck33x

    Fire Huberdeau into the sun.

But seriously, we better not be buyers. This team is nowhere near a contender.

  5. JackieMoon919

Double your opponents shot total, only score one goal and lose the game. That’s Darryl Sutter hockey baby

  6. GrafNebelgeist

Man, fuck this. I’m going to go play Hogwarts.

  7. DemonousXodus

Yeah I don’t mean to sound dramatic, I’ve tried to be positive but sell. We may as well go for a high pick in this draft. We aren’t good.

  8. Rulebreaker15

We gotta lead the league in dramatic losses during the final two minutes after taking almost 3 periods off. So that’s something we are good at.

  9. Iphone4Lyfe

Something big needs to change. We don’t have that gamebreaker talent anymore

  10. levelprime

i wish we sucked harder so this would hurt less

  11. We are genuinely the definition of mid. I was so ready to trade Tkachuk for prospects and picks for the deepest draft since 2015 and bounce back in 2-4 years. But no, management would rather be mid forever than bad for a while in order to get good.

I’m convinced that the Flames won’t make the playoffs. Not tight enough defensively, and not NEAR enough offence to account for it. Their best players haven’t been their best players.

Johnny and Chucky will be sorely missed for a long time.

So have we ever managed to score a goal with our goalie pulled this season? I’m pretty sure every time we’ve tried we can’t score and it’s a loss.

Pretty hard to win games when all your shots are muffins from the outside.

Darth finds our lack of Finnish disturbing

  14. Bigasspikachu

Dont by a buyer Brad. Thats all I hope for now

  15. marveldcomnibus9

How does Kirk Muller still have a job? Our powerplay is awful and somehow it keeps getting worse.

  16. IMakeShips4Europeans

LA and Seattle have to score 5 a night to make up for their AHL goaltending and this team can’t get 2 against Detroit.

  17. undeletable-2

Just a Swedish boy, ran over by a car in South Detroit.

  18. Paulhockey77

I’m sorry but wtf was that? Lowest amount of effort I have seen from these guys.

Huberdeau has been completely irrelevant. This team lacks so much energy

  19. scuzzwadd

I stuck around because Vladar plays his heart out.

Sometimes you’re the car, sometime you’re scooter.

  21. ADFanatic

No way Darryl keeps his job….right?

  22. DonkeyDong1337

This honestly has to be the worst team in the league to watch. Outshoot every team, half of them by double and get out scored and outplayed every game.

Weak ass defence that doesn’t collapse on the net for shit.

A 10m a year playmaker that gets outplayed by an AHL mid season call up over and over.

A star goalie that can’t find his confidence, likely because the team plays like ass in front of him.

This team is just playing like absolute shit more often then not, the only reason they aren’t in bedard territory is loser points.

  23. natenicholson

We are in for 8 years of pain

  24. themill94

The 4th lines effort on the back check for that 2nd red wings goal was not even pathetic. It was non existent. Unbelievable.

  25. TravisTouchdown_51

I hate to say this as a fan of Darryl’s, but he’s been the biggest letdown for me this season, not Huberdeau. His stubbornness and fixing things that weren’t broken really put us in a terrible position. It’s like all his negative attributes have come to surface this season.

Muller has been terrible as a PP coach, how is he better than Gelinas who got more out of a less skilled team? Our whole PP strategy revolves around cycling the puck and getting perfect passes, but we waste so much time doing it the PP expires with barely any shots. Look at how dangerous the Detroit PP looked tonight and that’s the 21st best PP in the league!

We can complain about players all day and night, but if there are so many guys having off years then it’s something bigger than a few guys underachieving. These guys aren’t on the same page and it’s over 50 games in. Coaching is the issue here.

  26. Not only are we not making the playoffs…. But we’re stuck in no mans land..

Not bad enough to get high picks… not good enough to make playoffs and stuck with shit contracts for years to come..

    This team is so depressing

  27. Maclammy

One of those losses where you just go “man, this team is really struggling right now”. 🙁
