My takeaway besides the fact that the leafs were moving that rock quite beautifully is how much of a joy it is listening to Mike Johnson call games. I’m a big Ray Ferraro guy, I don’t think Mike Johnson is too far behind him. What a fun night of hockey!

  2. StaticR0ute

The fraudulent cannon canNOT compete with the Leafs. Three to canNONE!

  3. tbclandot92

The long layoff was worth it for a shutout win.

  4. senile-animal

Glad the boys found a way to bury a few and hang on for the shutout for Sammy. Too bad Willy couldn’t pot one, but he had a hell of a game

Now to do it all again tomorrow

  5. MutedHornet87

A respectable team win and a good effort. Respect.

Goodgame tonight hopefully we see another solid outing for a nice 4 point swing on this home and home. The Away feed is still better than any leaf game broadcast in Canada. I wish everyone would « privateer » games so we could get a fan of the team as the play by play guy for the first time in 30 fucking years.

  7. labadee

really turned in up in the third. nylander was amazing and hungry tonight

What was the abusive language penalty? Lmao

  9. Stuck1nARutt

I’m sure this thread will be full of game reactions and not discussion on Miller/Johnson

  10. backstreets_93

Missed the game but happy to see the shutout!

What if we get Toews AND Kane. Anyone thought of that?

Wait you guys think I’m serious LOL

Just like our former Mayor of Toronto, Samsonov doesn’t have enough to eat at home. Big W on the road!

  14. MutedHornet87

I just want to say that I love Sammy

  15. LordVic

This interview with Samsonov is ridiculous adorable.

    “ I FEEL GOOD TODAY”

  16. darkkness

Sammy is literally the nicest guy ever

  17. Devine97

That samsonov interview was great. Somehow management finds these goalies that are better people than they are goalies, and Samsonov has been an amazing goalie.

  18. ButtsAndBuds

That’s how we do it boys, looked good all around tonight!! GO LEAFS GO!!

Also Samsonov might be the most wholesome guy in the league, what a good kid he is. Way to give em hell out there tonight Sammy !!

  19. canipickit

First the Leafs win and then I hear John Tory is toast?! Rest in piss BOZO. My night can’t get any better lol

  20. arent_we_sarcastic

WTF did I just watch? Leafs highlights, a story about Womens soccer teams then an in show ad for a freaking movie? As if the in show gambling segments weren’t enough now they’re pushing movies too??

  21. swimbaitjesus

i don’t remember the last time we full on killed a lower placed team…. thank god

  22. After watching the Raptors lately…thank you for coming back Leafs!

  23. CMDRShepardN7

So back to trade discussions. Lets say we end of with Myers and O’Reilly by the deadline, and get to keep Knies.

    Good or Bad deadline?

  24. awesome_matthews

Smiles split save that looked like a glove save was the « tsn turning point. » If anyone remembers when that was a thing!?

That woke the boys up and they popped two goals in succession. Should have been 1-1 and that’s not where you want to be. Huge save by Sammy.
