Pettersson 2017 top 5 Drafted chosen so many moved in his skating Dynamite needs to prove Defense but all in all is good top 10 center in the League Gretzky like shot best so far

Lol no. Drai gets so little respect it is insane. Guy scores 50/50 and is the only guy to do it since Ovechkin and did it twice and you got goofballs like this guy saying Petterson is better.

I always rooted for Petey, I am the furthest thing from a Canucks fan but ever since I heard the story behind his drafting and how most teams past on him because he was "lanky"

Top 10 center, maybe. But to put him in the top 5 is crazy talk lol. Elias does have high upside to his game, but, it's waaaaaay to early to say he's a top 5 center in the league.
His overall comparable for the bulk of his career is Datsyuk. Injuries have slowed down his development, but it looks like he’s getting everything together now. The next thing he needs to work on is his draws. With his hands, his quickness, and his brain, he should be better than a 44-45% on faceoffs. Not that being crap on draws has hurt Malkin much… still, it’s a weakness in his overall game. I’m fairly confident that he will find a way to improve that.
Ya need to look closer at his blocked shots.

Top 5? Your kidding me right? Go look at the 1st line center on all 32 teams. I'm not sure i would even put him top 10 and if I do it's because he is still young and can improve a lot.

Still have McDavid and Draisaitl ahead, and probably Matthews ahead too (despite his off season). League-wide MacKinnon, Thompson, and J. Hughes are probably better too.

People are callin this guy high for claiming that Pettersson is a top 5 centre (which he is in the NHL bracket) and they're claiming that Crosby is better LMAO
For that wuss to be a top 5 centre he has to be better than at least 4 of the following: Crosby, MacKinnon, Bergeron, Matthews, McDavid, Point, Draisaitl, and Stamkos. And I haven't even mentioned Malkin, Barkov, Toews, O'Reilly, Kane, and a good dozen others that make Timbits Peterson look like the fat kid from the Mighty Ducks movies! You must have a screw loose!

I guess he is somewhere in that top 5-7 tier. He is incredible no doubt, it's his compete level and drive to be the best he can be and to win that makes him the player he is I think.
