Is it just me or does Laffy look a LOT faster playing consistently with fil and kaapo than he has all season

  2. Fedbackster

    Hell yeah let’s go Rangers!!!!!

  3. CountSpecialist4905

I can’t believe I saw that many hats fly on to the rink

  4. khalaron

Ok, so I played Hogwarts during the 2nd intermission and didn’t realize so much time passed.

Check score just now. PANARIN 4 GOALS?!?!?!?! HOLY FUCK

I didn’t get to watch most of the game tonight, but I did manage to witness that absolute eruption from the Breadman. Thing of beauty when he starts shooting instead of looking to make the play.

I gotta say I like what I’m seeing! [Second game in a row putting up a 6 goal spread? ](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/001/563/653/b29.jpg)

And now the long wait to Wednesday…

Yo let’s get Gauthier some help on the 4th line. If we could make one more trade, that’s what we should address.

Gauthier, Goodrow and not a complete scrub would make us hella deep.

    – Moving Bread off of the top line and with Trocheck was an excellent coaching decision. It got Bread away from the Staal line which is one of the finest checking lines in hockey right now and he finally had space to breathe. Glad there was enough recognition in the coaching staff to realize that the Staal checking line is MADE for a team that’s trying to stack all of their talent on 1 line.

    – Not sure what the biggest difference between the Trocheck – Bread connection tonight and literally every other night is. At some point Vinny and Vesey abandoned their North-South, chip the puck behind the net play to just funnel the puck at Bread. Hope they can replicate that game plan cuz I highly doubt Bread’s getting moved off of Trocheck’s wing after scoring 4 even strength goals. Yep, that likely means Vesey’s getting another look in the top 6 again. All I know is that I don’t care how Bread scores as long as he’s scoring, no matter who’s on his wing.

    – Kids line getting the first shift after the Canes pulled their goalie was nice to see. Also good to see Kakko getting rewarded for it. GG is starting to trust in that line enough to deploy them in defensive situations.

    – Trocheck looks better with Vesey on his wing than Kravy. There’s just no way around it. You can call it chemistry or similar playstyles or whatever but the fact of the matter is Vesey performs better when the task required is to dig the puck out of the corner. At this point in his career Kravy doesn’t have enough skill to displace any of the RW in the top 6, and not enough jam to play in the bottom 6. I foresee another Nils Lundkvist type situation in the future. Lundkvist, who apparently was supposed to be the 2nd coming of Fox for some Rangers fans, has 3 power play points and 15 total points in 47 games played in Dallas.

But but. GG. Doesn’t know how to coach.

Was out shopping with my mom tonight but made her stop in with me in a bar to get a drink and watch the 3rd period. Such a great decision wow it was so fun great job boys!!!

    Missed the game 🙁
I see Bread was scored with Veset on assist so what were the lines today?

  11. sweetsweetdick

I believe we call this kind of a game a « shallacking. »

Idc what we have to do to keep Tarasenko, Bread needs his friend.

  12. nethead69

Just got back to hotel in Raleigh…. Rangers fans accounted for 40% of the people there. Late 3rd was electric when Carolina fans were heading for the miserable parking lot. God damn I love this team. Cant wait to knock the Hurricanes out of the playoffs AGAIN on our way to hoist the CUP

  13. Ch33zw4g0n

I was at the game and I still felt the need to watch the highlights replay. I’ll probably rewatch the broadcast too.
Rangers fans showed up in force tonight. It was a great time. 🍞🍞🍞🍞🍺🥃

There’s still quite a lot of season left but this team is geared up to make a big run. Put all your chips on the table and go get whoever else we can before the deadline

  15. MonsTangy27

Lads, I’m starting to get penisy

  16. Grouchy-Power-806

Wild win in shootout to steal a point away from the devils.

I’m a New York-born-and-raised Ranger fan who lives in North Carolina and it gives me life every time we beat them. Their fans are awful and cocky for no reason whatsoever and I cackle every time they complain about people like me moving here and “ruining” the housing market. Then don’t vote for politicians/policies that make this an attractive state to move to, you dumb assholes. You being born here doesn’t make this state “yours” that you need to protect from “outsiders.”

  19. Kaapo-Taco

Scrolled r/canes thread and they’re so triggered at how many ranger fans were at that game. Such a dumpster fanbase, what it must be like to cheer for a team like that

  20. Clear_Willow3379

Great game. 18 to their 29 SOG is pretty poor but our top gun showed his shot. Cap on their mistakes and make them pay!

(sad Brass Bonanza plays)… Ahem WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, THAT JUST HAPPENED. The Rangers headed down south to the land of the pines. They thumbed their way into North Caroline. Stared up the road, hoping to see 2 points. So Artemi Panarin rocked the Hurricanes like a ~~Hurricane~~ wagon wheel with FOUR GOALS! DO YOU BELIEVE IT! « GIVE EM THE HATS BABY! » Once the Canes took the lead, I was expecting the Hurricanes to blow the rangers out of the building. They (NYR) looked like shit during the second. Sloppy in the neutral zone and their own zone. I know the Canes had the pressure on. Aggressive play. But, Turk pulled a ballsy move. Moved Panarin to the Trocheck and « Born Survivor » Vesey line. Bread scores a goal, quells the Canes mojo. And the rest is history for Bread. Could you IMAGINE if the Rangers lost tonight, the doomers would be like « FIRE HIM IMMEDIATELY. HOW DARE HE SCRATCH KRAVTSOV! » Halak, man this guy is playing great. His big save on Aho (I believe in the 3rd) was the « we aint losing this game » save. Glad for Jaro. After giving that bad goal tonight, dude was lights out. Dude turned it around too. 4th line looked great. Gauthier looked good. Dude fits the role. Of course Mika is still on fire. Mika Zibanejad… (It’s a Power Play Goal!). Kakko scored tonight again. « Wow it’s a nice empty net goal. »

Team’s clicking. Got that dog in them right now. Keep it up. Rangers win! 2 points in the bag and how vital are these points. Artemi Panarin is a Ranger who could have been an Islander. They slunked out. Looking at them, 10 points out. UH DIS ASS STUH. Adam Fox is also a Ranger, and so is Mika Zibanejad. 3 points behind the Devils too. Off till (check notes.. Wednesday 10pm). Onto Vancouver. Great win tonight! God Save the King. Back afta dis.

    Here’s the Kakko reminder

Gonna take this to my grave: Vesey is a high end winger with the right players. He’s got great instincts and vision. His plays today are why he’s not a fourth liner. Of course if he’s on our fourth line that means we have a sick lineup, but he consistently impresses me with his hockey sense. Is he our first line winger? No. But he can slot on any line and not in the same way GG thinks Goodrow can.

I feel like the Canes are just a better hockey team than us but we keep beating them with high end talent and patience defensively and counterattacks. It’s so weird and feels almost like soccer tactics. I’ll take it.

Mikkolas footspeed and inability to move the puck is gonna kill me feel like we have harpur nemeth 3.0. Why does this org love players like that. I will never understand.

  23. callmesnake13

I missed this game and am just trying to understand the box score. Panarin did what?

  24. jhealey0909

I miss ONE GAME and Panarin puts up 4

That’s a whole King’s Hawaiian pack worth of Bread

  25. Neans888

I was at the game. Just want to say that Canes fans are awesome. The Canes fan behind me was so psyched that he got to see someone score 4 goals in a game that he actually didn’t care much that his team lost. That’s true respect for the game. Bread’s performance was more important to him than the result.
