It’s only fitting that we break the curse on the last day of the RR 😀

Edit: play under review for offside

    Edit: GOOD GOAL, CURSE BROKEN!

  2. HabsJaysRaps

Winning in the Baby Blues?! Tbnk!

    Edit…I spoke too soon.

    Edit 2. Nvm Tbnking continued!

####You just lost to the Reverse Retro Canadiens™

  4. Minato_is_God

Matheson-Barron was great, probably Matheson’s best game as a hab.

Hi, fellow tank enjoyer. Fuck this win did not help, NYI winning would have pushed them above Panthers and we would have stayed low and close to San Jose, ARI and ANA. Welp so much for that. Good win tho

  6. Mithrandir_42

Elite playmaker Mike Hoffman (3 assist night)

  7. flepine44

Poor Hoffman scores 3 assists and not even on the 3 stars lmao

Sad for the tank but rather win in OT than get the loser point. Happy to see Suzuki break the goal drought, Dach continues to be a tank, RHP is an NHLer and won’t be down any time soon, and Anderson gets a point to help his trade value.

Also, Hoffman has been lowkey playing good hockey lately and gets three assists today. Really really hoping that we can offload him for a 3rd or something at the deadline to a team that needs some secondary scoring.

    *GOOD*

    – OT winner aside Matheson was flying out there. Plus, OT winner so ya know good. He’s looked really good since coming back from the last injury he definitely is the player I’d most want to keep out of veteran D.

    – Strong game from Kovacevic. Noticeable working that blue line.

    – RHP continues to excel. No doubt he won’t be going back to Laval.

    – Dach

    – Suzuki

    – Barron

    *BAD*

    – Almost forget what I was going to freaking write with how long that challenge took. No blatant evidence? Then it’s a good goal.

    – Couple of times not tying up dudes in front. Not so much bad luck compared to just needing to bear down a little more.

The Islanders had every chance to win so their loss. GG Matheson. Dach, Suzuki.

  11. Never cared about the 3 stars, but Anderson and RHP getting 3rd and 2nd with one point over Hoffman with 3A (GWA) is funny as hell

  12. crissdecaliss

Maybe some teams needing offensive depth will be interested in RHP ahead of the trade deadline ? He has proven he’s an NHL player and can be effective in the bottom 6

  13. NotDennisBonvie

First time we win with this jersey, also first time we win while I record the game on a cassette tape. Our record when I do it: 1-10. Habs definitely beat the odds today!

  14. xc2215x

Quite the 3rd period and OT this game. They actually won in those jerseys and Hoffman got 3 points, quite a game.

  15. Minato_is_God

Hoffman has 9 points in his last 8 games, trade deadline buyers please take note

  16. theflower10

Picked up the game in the 2nd – man, the Islanders dont look any better than Montreal and Montreal is playing with 1/2 their legit lineup.

  17. Patterik

It’s hilarious that they took that long to review the offside and still got it wrong. Half the puck was behind the heel of his back blade as he came across the line. Whatever though, the boys deserved to win.

  18. Meats_Hurricane

How does Hoffman have a slashing penalty in OT.

But also has an assist on the Short handed goal in OT?

  19. Olibro64

One of the most Montreal Canadiens endings of all time.

  20. lyme6483

Fun game! Got to enjoy the wins when they come

  21. quadriplegic_cheetah

RHP has cemented a position on this team next year. He screams bottom 6 guy who can play up the lineup in the future.
